Brandt sounds like an idiot who has spent his entire life in his media bubble. More like Rambo First Blood Part 2 and Predator both base their characters off Army Ranger LRRPs in Vietnam, who ran missions deep into Viet Cong jungle territory at night covered in mud.

Btw...it feels like Predator ripped off Aliens too. But timing-wise that's only possible if they got a peak at Cameron's script. Maybe using cocaine as writing-fuel created a predilection toward non-stop action involving yoked-out disgruntled soldiers on an impossible mission.

Honestly, this is my favorite Rambo movie of the series

Similar tropes but Predator is 10 times better.

Other than the one where he had to deal with the janky ass sheriff and the last two which got made cause I guess nothing ever dies in Hollywood... I can't recall a single thing about Rambo. Any of em. Nothing stuck about them movies to me.
