Premier Eby said, "I had a conversation through staff with Vancouver Coastal Health. My understanding is that they're trying to get a better handle on why Richmond is bringing forward this proposal at this time, whether what's proposed actually meets the needs in Richmond(1/3)

The politicians force people to buy adulterated drugs of the highest-potency with drug prohibition, that's why they're needed. If people could purchase regulated drugs the way alcohol is sold that wouldn't be a requirement. Think about how bars and liquor stores work. Same thing.

Richmond has had an inundation of problems after the Mayor of Vancouver decided to shift some of his difficult cases over here. Large scale theft, breaking into cars, no end of trouble. I would suggest at this time not making Richmond more of a magnet.
