Democrats are lying about Obamacare, so I called them out on CNN: 1) Premiums are increasing because the Democrats' Un-Affordable Care Act is bad policy and it is unsustainable. 2) Premiums are increasing because Congressional Democrats passed a law which included a 2026 expiration for COVID-19 subsidies. 3) These subsidies benefit just 7% of Americans, yet all Americans are suffering with higher costs because of Obamacare. 4) Americans earning 133%–400% above the poverty line keep their subsidies in 2026. That’s already permanent law and Democrats know it. 5) Democrats shut down the government because they wanted to hand $40 billion in subsidies to big insurance companies, not American families.

Democrats set this ACA tax credit cliff, and on January 1 millions of Americans are about to hit a financial brick wall. We need an off-ramp from Obamacare and an on-ramp to REAL healthcare freedom! That could be price transparency, competition, strong HSAs, and giving industries the power to negotiate lower costs. This entire crisis is a Democrat-made mess.
