Always be prepared. If your house isn’t insulated for super cold leave your faucets on a little to drip so your pipes don’t freeze. Have extra easy foods to eat on hand. (Sandwich material, jerky, broth, etc) Extra water Charge your phone, tablets, Kindles. Layer clothes for warmth Back up power is ideal but not always possible.
