Agree to 50%. It’s worth trying out different cultures and different languages are beautiful in their own way, but don’t participate in things you don’t like. I think Western people are too submissive to not offend anyone. We should be more honest and say “I don’t like this so I don’t wanna eat it/listen to eat/whatever.” instead of suffering in silence. Respect should go both ways. But you also seem a bit like a boring square and extremely narrow-minded with a shitty attitude in your aversion to languages and ayahuasca. I mean, psychedelics can be great but I also think it could be good that you don’t take it. If you’re gonna take it, you’re probably going all in for your on/off philosophy where you don’t like a semi or wine, you want a boner and vodka. Your ego could give you a very tough time and it’s not guaranteed that you will get a good experience. You probably need to relax and start off small to be able to enjoy it and see the benefits.
