Got bit on the shin in a foreign country. Before injections the nurse who had extremely limited English looked at me and said “PAIN”, and then proceeded with the shots. It hurt but I was laughing at the same time .

That has to be a terrifying experience, especially if a recovery isn't guaranteed. The wait must have been debilitating.

Heck, you think injections in the finger are bad? When I was 17, I cut the tip my index finger so badly the doctor used staples to attach it back. Going in wasn’t so bad, coming out was terrible. The tech that removed them said the doctor should’ve never used staples.

That's immune globulin and it's no more painful than getting local anesthetic for stitches. Rabies vaccine used to be in the stomach area and it used to be very painful.

This is why I hate those rescue videos with feral cats where those people let themselves get bit tf up not knowing the health status of that animal.

I had these same shots last year. Bit by a dog. I’m a licensed electrician on a house call. It was hell.
