I vetoed drum set gift idea when my son was 10. Got him electronic drum set w/ headphones. He broke it in 1 day. 1st thing my dad did Xmas morn was take his wire cutters & "de-noise" every toy I got. If you pushed it & it clicked or popped it got a toy vasectomy immediately
