I’ve almost messed up extremely simple prayers like the Hail Holy Queen when put on the spot or before people and I ask myself how that was possible afterwards, this isn’t really indicative of anything

I'm not saying I haven't messed up prayer recitation on podcasts, which I have. Presenting it as if that's what happened here is wholly inaccurate. Barron literally didn't appear to know the prayer, and he has spent his entire career showing us why he would neglect that prayer.

People, especially older people, forget things when pressed on camera. What a ridiculous cheap shot at America's most effective evangelist. May you and I do a fraction of the good for God's Church as this man.

I think he just had a memory lapse since he summarized it accurately. I'm sure he has more prayers and psalms memorized than any of us.

He should know the prayer, this is his job. We as laymen might forget but this is his job, sorry

Even though I’ve said the very short Fatima prayer over and over praying the Rosary, I’ve messed it up when trying to recite it during conversation. It happens.
