It’s the first time we’re seeing our fave couples working together, some brand new, some already big names, and it just hits different. We get four separate love stories, each with its own vibe and dynamics, but at the same time there’s this bigger storyline about the four cousins finding love in their own unique ways. And because their bond is always there and their stories are connected, it doesn’t even feel like four separate series. We are now preparing for a very intense week – a week of diplomacy. We can accomplish a lot if our partners hear us and support proposals that truly bring the end of the war closer. It will be the week of the UN General Assembly – with various events and meetings. The schedule already includes nearly two dozen meetings with leaders from different countries, from all parts of the world – with everyone who has long supported Ukraine and with our new partners. The first meetings are already tomorrow. We also plan this week a meeting with the President of the United States. There will be an important event on the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia – a truly global summit on this issue. It is vital that this week strengthens the world’s resolve for robust action – because without strength, peace will not prevail.

For the first time in history, Ukraine has begun building a joint plant with Denmark, on Danish territory, and it will produce components for our missiles and drones, weapons that are already proving highly effective. During this war, Ukraine has already reached the level where nearly 60 percent of the weapons in the hands of our warriors are Ukrainian-made – and they are strong weapons, many of them cutting-edge. Of course, there are goals we must still achieve, in particular the production in Ukraine and together with Ukraine different types of air defense systems. We must get there. Ukraine has already proven that in weapons production we are among the best in the world. I thank everyone who is developing Ukraine’s defense sector, designing new models of Ukrainian weapons, and driving the technological advancement of our country.

JOONGDUNK URANUS UNIQUE #UranusClinicxJoongDunk : as a pair you’re partners how do you take care of each other? how do you navigate your relationship? how do you manage a 5-year relationship as partners? 🌞honestly we just take things naturally. both have managers who arrange our schedules according to our work. on days when we see each other … we work together. on days when we don’t we each go do our own things go to the gym and live our everyday lives. he makes desserts. these days you see him making desserts quite often. i eat some too. and sometimes fans buy them for and things. so these days he might be making desserts .. while i might go work with my band or do other things. actually i also have other series to film so we just mix everything together. but of course there are always events where we get to see each other. like today we got to meet at Uranus Clinic or we might have a fanmeet. actually tomorrow we’re flying together to Rome and then we’re going to Japan and there’s Korea too 🌞: so we’ll still be together and keep seeing each other regularly : do you ever exchange or share activities with each other? 🌻and if there’s an activity that we share i guess it would be dancing cause dancing is actually one of the essentials of this era. there are concerts fancons fan meetings—there are many different kinds of fan events. but one of the things that definitely comes with them is singing and dancing. so that’s something we can enjoy as a joint activity

About 5 years ago, Breitbart COO and the singer-songwriter behind the Trump anthem “Fighter,” Jon Kahn Music, was heading to Nashville for a writing trip to chase down some songs, as they say. The night before his first writing session, the publisher emailed him and said the other writer’s truck broke down in Texas and he wouldn’t be able to make the session. But then the publisher added, “Why don’t you write with Michael Farren?” Done. The next day, the two songwriters met for the first time, and they didn’t even pick up their guitars for a couple hours. They just talked -- about life, faith, the human condition -- and they wrote their first song together. Their musical relationship and friendship, in a lot of ways, parallels the song they contributed to Breitbart’s B 250 American Soundtrack. Farren comes from Texas. Kahn from L.A. Farren, the son of a preacher. Kahn, the son of a doctor. Farren’s musical roots are grounded in worship, and he’s won multiple Dove awards, and has been nominated for a Grammy for Lauren Daigle’s now-platinum single "Trust in You." He also wrote "Let it Rain," which appeared on Michael W. Smith’s RIAA certified double platinum album “Worship.” Kahn’s musical journey began in film. As a writer-director in Hollywood, his songs found their way in to many films, TV shows, and commercials. Coming from the '90s rock world, he has worked with members of The Wallflowers, Creed, and the Foo Fighters. Different backgrounds. Different musical roots. Different styles but when they get in a room to write, as the lyric states in The United Saints of America…. “somehow it works.” That’s what their song is about. It’s about the beauty and diversity of the people who make up this country — the ones who make it great, not despite our differences, but because of them. At exactly 6am on 20th August 2019, four people entered a brand new studio and started a journey along an uncharted path. When I switched on the four microphones that morning I was excited at launching yet another station, but I also had butterflies in my stomach; would this work? Would the audience embrace four hours of non-stop talk during their busy morning commute? The four of us with CT Muga, Ndu Okoh and Njeri Thorne took on the new assignment with dedication and a true belief that we could do it. Outside of that studio was our producer Brian Evusa, the Programmes Controller Brian Obara and, although he wasn’t in the studio, the Radio General Manager Tom Japanni was present. It has been a great journey building The Situation Room to what it has become and we have very many people to thank, not least the team of producers, marketing, commercial, technical and other colleagues. The Situation Room has become the home of Kenya’s Biggest Conversations and it continues to host many thought leaders, community influencers, different professionals and duty bearers. The biggest part of this show has been the audience who tune in on radio, Tv or digital platforms. It’s humbling whenever people reach out on calls, text or approach us with compliments, comments and suggestions for the show. On this 6th day of January 2025, my heart is heavy as I bid kwaheri to the brilliant team of colleagues at Spice FM and the Standard Group. I am grateful for the opportunity to once again be a part of Kenya’s oldest private media house and I am proud of the teams that I leave behind in radio, TV and print. I love the thrill of creating and starting new things and I have been blessed to do just that. I was privileged to be there at the launch of Kenya’s first 24hr religious media house - Family FM and Family TV, the first 24hrs vernacular radio station - Kameme FM and the first 24hr news and information TV station - K24. Is there room for something new? Of course, always, and I sure hope to be a part of it soon. Wish me luck, I will keep you posted.

This week Mamoon Hamid and Ilya Fushman of Kleiner Perkins joined Erik Torenberg on Turpentine VC to make the case for the craftsman approach to venture capital, and it's a must-listen. Our top takeaways: 1. KP holds firm in their belief in the craft approach to VC, which isn’t too dissimilar from the approach 30 - 40 years ago. Of course they employ new tools and software that allows them to be better stewards of the capital they manage, but the craft of investing is still at the center of everything they do. Kleiner may never have more than 7 partners: less is more, and one team, one dream. And it all comes from the question of: “how do we make really good decisions?” That means all being based in the Bay Area, having in-person team meetings every Monday, and having those discussions as a team sitting around a table. 2. The team at Kleiner uses “majors and minors” to cover new waves or emerging domains with a small team. Because of their team size, it’s difficult for KP to spin up specialization. So they fall back on having partners with great fundamentals (majors), with the ability to shirt into emergent domains (minors). Tamika Mallory has finally decided to address the controversy surrounding Jay-Z’s continued relationship with Target during the boycott. I’ve already shared my own thoughts on the situation, but I wanted to highlight her explanation because, in my opinion, it perfectly illustrates why I believe many activists and public figures apply different standards depending on who they’re talking about. Parents with young children who rely on the nearest Target for medicine, diapers, groceries, or other necessities? Many people were criticized simply for shopping there out of convenience or necessity. Why is Jay Z’s longstanding corporate relationship viewed as an acceptable exception, while ordinary people trying to care for their families were often judged more harshly? Toward the end of the discussion, Tamika said she wished wealthy people had voluntarily chosen not to continue doing business with Target during the boycott. But after spending much of the conversation explaining why his existing relationship made the situation different, that statement felt contradictory to me. What I find most interesting is that Tamika says she was so busy organizing and doing activism work that she didn’t initially see the criticism. Yet, when it comes to other people exercising their own freedom of speech, freedom of expression, or making decisions she disagrees with, she always seems to find the time to weigh in, criticize, and even chastise them. Now that the criticism is directed at someone she has a relationship with, we’re hearing explanation after explanation and exception after exception. In my opinion, that’s the hypocrisy. My issue isn’t whether people choose to boycott Target or not. Everyone’s circumstances are different, and people should make the decisions that are best for themselves and their families. The raw footage recovered from VHS production dailies reveals the original final scene of Wild Force’s first episode. The teens return to the Animarium after defeating Turbine Org, greeted by Princess Shayla and the Wildzords. This scene features the only in-series look at the actors in their spandex, previously seen in unit photography used in different print projects over the years; also notably featuring the original actress and design for Princess Shayla [Natasha Allas].
