JUST IN: After letting 7,298,486+ illegals into the country, Biden is now "examining" the power he has to shut down the U.S. border with the election around the corner. After shuffling his feet for 3 years, Biden is finally ready to "examine" closing down the border. "We're examining whether or not I have that power," Biden said. (Reuters) He added that there was "no guarantee" but says he is considering it now that the "bipartisan border" legislation didn't make it through Congress. Now that they've imported more illegals than the population of 36 states to ensure they win more elections, the Biden administration suddenly cares about closing the border. Remarkable. Arizona Border Patrol checkpoint CLOSED‼️ Instead of being able to interdict fentanyl, the Biden admin has turned Border Patrol into babysitters for the millions of illegals flooding the border. This is a DANGER to every American. Joe Biden could close the border at any time, but he would rather close checkpoints.

WaPo journalist Catherine Rampell was torched by Rep. Malliotakis for claiming that border crossings “went down” under Biden. “I’m still in shock that you actually said that the border crossings went down under Biden... that’s so disingenuous.” The representative is correct; border crossings were at record highs for most of his term, and then, at the very end of his presidency, he issued Executive Orders to reel in the border. To disregard that in your reasoning is disingenuous.

Mitt Romney: “I think the border is a very important issue for Donald Trump. And the fact that he would communicate to Republican senators and congresspeople that he doesn't want us to solve the border problem because he wants to blame Biden for it is is really appalling."

If Speaker Johnson continues to believe – as President Biden and Republicans and Democrats in Congress do – that we have an imperative to act immediately on the border, he should give this administration the authority and funding we’re requesting to secure the border.

UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE Biden has the audacity to blame *Trump* for the border being WIDE OPEN for millions of illegals during the past 4 years. Trump secured our border in a matter of DAYS. Biden could’ve also. He just didn’t want to.

✅ PASSED: The Subterranean Border Defense Act My bipartisan bill would help Congress address the growing threat of illicit cross-border tunnels by requiring the submission of annual reports on counter tunneling operations, fortifying our security system at the border. Put simply, this legislation would help ensure that Congress has the necessary data to forge another much-needed layer of defense.

President Trump warns the U.S. could be "just like" Spain if Democrats regain power, arguing the party has moved beyond socialism and "directly to communism." Pointing to the Biden administration's immigration policies, Trump says the U.S. went from "the worst border in the history of our country" to "the best border," claiming illegal crossings at the southern border have now dropped to zero. He says reopening the border would put the country at risk again, adding, "We're going to be just like that if you put these lunatics in."
