We have another problem in Zimbabwe. This guy ! No consulting people on the way forward. No improvement from MDC Alliance, CCC nothing, it's still the same story. I bet, the party he is gonna form will be the worst political party in the history of Zimbabwe.

Members of Parliament and Councillors Attend President Chamisa's Annual Charity Dinner - Mps and councillors declare we fear no fokolo and we fear not Tshabangu Yesterday, 13th December, 2025, members of parliament and councillors gathered for President Nelson Chamisa's Annual Charity Dinner in Harare, Zimbabwe. While many councillors and MPs expressed concerns about potential recalls from Zanu PF’s pro-2030ist Sengezo Tshabangu, those who attended affirmed their support for President Chamisa, stating, “We stand with President Nelson Chamisa despite threats from Tshabangu, and we fear no fokolo.” The following members of parliament and councillors responded to President Chamisa's call and supported this charitable initiative: Members of Parliament 1. Hon. Martin Mureri (Masvingo Urban) 2. Hon. Kuka Mkoba South 3. Hon. Desire Nkala (Gwanda North) 4. Hon. Corban Madzivanyika (Kwekwe) 5. Hon. Ropafadzo Makumire (Chiredzi Central) 6. Hon. Kudzi Kadzomba, among others Ruwa - Mayor Mike Mataruka Several councillors and mayors from Masvingo, Chiredzi, Beitbridge, and other areas did not attend the event. Those who did not attend Charity Dinner but spoke to Change Radio on the condition of anonymity revealed that, "Tshabangu's blue eyed boys, like former Masvingo City ward 2 councillor Rock Kamuzondo, threatened us with recalls. That is why we gave various excuses, such as claiming to be ill or attending funerals, for our absence from President Chamisa's dinner." During this well-attended event, President Chamisa expressed his gratitude to politicians, business leaders, church pastors and bishops, members of the diaspora, and local citizens for their attendance and financial contributions. The funds raised will support the welfare of Zanu PF political victims, individuals with disabilities, orphans, and other marginalized members of society across Zimbabwe. Some members of parliament and councillors who were unable to attend still contributed by purchasing tickets. For example, Masvingo Senator Maggie Chakabuda bought a ticket but could not join the event due to a family wedding in Zvishavane. Reports indicate that some councillors and MPs chose not to attend out of fear of being recalled by Sengezo Tshabangu. Despite this, those who participated emphasized their commitment to President Chamisa, crediting him for their electoral success in 2023. Masvingo Urban member of parliament Honourable Martin Mureri said, "We won 2023 parliamentary elections because of President Chamisa. We are not evil to dump President Chamisa. His popularity helped us won elections. " All present members of parliament and councillors reiterated their loyalty to President Chamisa, who stood by them both before and after their elections in 2023. Hon. Molekeli, speaking to Change Radio, noted that the 2025 Charity Dinner was the largest since its inception, marking a significant moment of solidarity and support for the causes championed by President Chamisa. All former councillors and former members of parliament who were recalled by Tshabangu attended this Charity Dinner.
