China spend almost $0 to prosecute any war. If the US could stop spending a huge percentage of revenue in pursuing wars, the US could catch up.

The financialized American economy has been so hollowed out that it lacks the reserves to dig its way out.

This whole Tariff war initiative was only taken to crumble China’s economy, and has nothing to do with the US trade deficit from any country. But, it seems like Trump really underestimated China’s might. Now, his only choice to make everything right is to shatter his ego and make a deal with China, which I assume is nearly impossible for him to do. So, it would be interesting to see where this nonsense leads the world economy!

I have no interest in ANY war, kinetic or trade, but even if China's exports to the US are only 14% of their exports? That throws them into a recession even at a GDP growth of 10% if trade zeros out.

If the US doesn't stop China's rise, Russia (ironically) will be the first to feel its wrath. The CCP is already vying for Vladivostok; then, they'll demand the rest of Siberia as "historically Chinese" and stolen land. China and Russia are *not* natural allies
