Junet Mohammed: After the election, when ODM went to the demonstrations, and the country was going to the dogs, the President of the Republic of Tanzania, on her own initiative, decided to come and do arbitration between President Ruto and my former Prime Minister, my former Party leader. I travelled with the former PM to Nanyuki and met President Suluhu, and the following day, we were supposed to meet President Ruto there. When we were waiting for President Ruto, he called President Suluhu, and he said that, "My DP, Rigathi Gachagua, has told me, 'You can not go to that meeting, if you go I will resign as the Deputy President.' President William Ruto has yet again spoken about the planned set up of a National Infrastructure Fund. First time was on Oct 4th, see quoted tweet. He says we should be seeing a Bill taken to the National Assembly anchoring its establishment. From what the President says, part of the capitation of the National Infrastructure Fund will be drawn from proceeds from privatisation.
