We never asked President Trump to carry out regime change for us. Our only request was simple: weaken our common enemy, the Islamic Republic. We, the Iranian people, are the boots on the ground and we will finish the job. Millions of Iranians answered the call and took to the streets on January 8 and 9 and chanted the name of Pahlavi. Forty thousand of them were massacred. And we will return to the streets again. But instead of maintaining pressure, Trump is now lifting sanctions and allowing oil sales, sending billions of dollars back into the regime’s coffers. He is trying to rescue the very terrorist regime that was weakened during the war. Trump promised that he would tell us when the time had come to rise again. Instead, he suddenly chose to negotiate with terrorists, falsely claimed that regime change had already occurred, and portrayed the same murderers as reasonable and moderate politicians. What Trump is doing serves neither American interests nor the Iranian people. The only winners of this shameful deal are the terrorists.
