President Trump offered Ukraine a win-win which would’ve provided security, a fund to rebuild the country, and rare earth minerals for the United States. Instead, Zelensky came into the Oval Office and disrespected the President of the United States. Well, guess what—the era of blank checks is over. A...

President Trump’s proposed 50/50 minerals deal with Ukraine was a strategic move to secure rare earth resources critical for U.S. defense and AI industries while tying future aid to tangible returns for American taxpayers—a sharp departure from Biden-era blank-check policies. The agreement would’ve granted U.S. firms 50% ownership of Ukraine’s mineral deposits (including lithium, uranium, oil/gas) and redirected half its resource revenues into a joint reconstruction fund. For context: Most global mining deals give host countries just 10% of profits—Trump’s offer was 5x more generous than industry norms. Zelensky’s refusal stemmed from demands for explicit NATO-style security guarantees beyond existing U.S.-backed military support—a nonstarter given Ukraine’s unproven mineral reserves. Despite $175B in prior aid, Kyiv balked at compensating America fairly while dismissing concerns about Putin’s reliability during tense Oval Office exchanges. The collapse confirms Trump’s stance: No more charity without reciprocity. If Ukraine prefers Soviet-era resource mapping over modern investment partnerships, that’s their loss—America will prioritize allies who respect mutual benefit over endless handouts.

Zelensky says he needs nuclear weapons or Nato membership to keep Russia from attacking the west. Would you support giving nuclear weapons back to Ukraine?

If that had been Biden he would have just handed Zelensky a blank check and a kiss on the cheek. We the People are through with Zelensky period.

His behavior was an egregious display of completely unwarranted arrogance from the moment he stepped out of his car in those ridiculous clothes.

If the deal comes back to the table, hopefully it will be more generous for America.

I’m one of your constituents and I could not be happier about your representation. I’d kill for the chance to work with you.

Trump and Vance ambushed Zelensky for Putin. They just told the world they stand with Russia. You also are obviously Putin’s bitch! Is this what the Tennessee voters voted for?

Zelensky tried to answer questions while being repeatedly insulted and interrupted. He was not treated as a partner or an ally. And most importantly, Putin's govt, which is based on hatred of the US and American values, has received the warmest of invitations. It's un-American

Let the European nations take over. But behind the scenes likely they want the USA to take the lead as they will not be able to take on Russia, China and other bad actor countries.
