President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday classifying illicit fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction, directing the Pentagon and Justice Department to take additional steps to combat production and distribution of the drug and its precursors. “Today I’m taking one more step to protect Americans from the scourge of deadly fentanyl flooding into our country with this historic executive order,” he said in​ the Oval Office. "No bomb does what this is doing," he added.

Trump today signed an Executive Order which he claims mandates a one-year prison sentence for those who burn the American Flag, in direct violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution and upheld by Texas v Johnson. Despite claims by President Trump that the order imposes a prison sentence for flag burning, the actual order makes no mention of a prison sentence and only directs Attorney General Pam Bondi to look at cases where people burned flags and see if they can be charged with other crimes like disturbing the peace or breaking environmental laws, in an attempt to circumvent the First Amendment.
