@KagutaMuseveni I have been around people 60+ years of age. I know the quality of decisions they make. I know what their worldview is. I have always argued, no 80 y.o should be making any decisions. Not even their diet. and certainly, no 80 y.o can be the "best bet" for presidency!

Brother, the discussion of security is meant to be about combating forces opposed to the regime. In any sense, that kind of security should be termed as regime security and not national or whatever security this might look. An economic foundation you have mentioned in a failed liberalism project is equally not worth the mention, for whatever its good, majority of us cannot claim to benefit from things you mention like the reduced inflation. Instead, corruption has multiplied in 10's ranking our country 142 on the Corruption Perceptions Index. An underfunded private sector, a misappropriated budget, a total institutional failure.... Aaaah. The biggest achievement of Mr. President Yoweri Museveni is his ability to stay in power for long, and of course, to secure regime security.
