The problem is that none of these former soviet states are culturally appropriate for the EU. All of them revert to supporting Russia. For example, their populations disapprove of EU LGBT policy, their populations are intractably racist, anti atheist, anti secular; sexist ....

Everybody in Brussels know that Ukraine can’t become a member. The EU will be on the hook for a trillion dollar reconstruction and nobody wants that. It’ll also destroy agriculture in EU countries. There’ll be plenty of vetos for this lol
