Driving against traffic And you shot at the car? Gun must not be use in this situation. This is sad and worrisome. The police should let all officers go through thorough mental evaluation. Stop giving guns to mad people.

How does driving the wrong way on the road lead to shooting someone? When does cutting off someone's head fix a headache? You can see the car's number plate clearly. If he was driving the wrong way, why not just find him using that number? If he got away, couldn't you radio other police officers where he is heading, to stop him when he reaches them? Instead, you killed an innocent child. Shooting in a place with many people; how does that make sense? You could have used this video in court against him instead of killing a child. This is very wrong on all levels.

The plate number been noted and recorded by the right authority would have avoid this eternal trauma. When drivers knew that driving one way will leads to heavy fine, they won’t do so, but because if your men catch them, they will go for settlement, this breeds more nonchalance.

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, through the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, acting on the directive of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, mnips dismantled a criminal syndicate involved in conspiracy, obtaining goods under false pretence, fraudulent conversion, stealing, and the issuance of dud cheques. The breakthrough followed investigations into three separate cases, which revealed a coordinated syndicate that fraudulently obtained exotic vehicles from dealers using false representations and dud or post-dated cheques before disposing of the vehicles for personal gain. The investigation led to the arrest of key suspects, while other members of the syndicate remain at large. Through intelligence-led operations and the AUTOREG Vehicle Tracking Platform, detectives recovered Toyota Highlander (2017 Model), Toyota Highlander (2007 Model), Toyota RAV4 (2010 Model), two (2) Toyota Hiace Buses (2016 Model), one Toyota Hiace Bus (2020 Model), and one Ford Edge SUV (2018 Model). Efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspects and recover the remaining vehicles. The suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations. The Lagos State Police Command advises vehicle dealers and business owners to exercise due diligence before releasing vehicles, particularly where payment is made through post-dated cheques or unfamiliar intermediaries. This man no be police oo. Ire oo PUBLIC NOTICE WARNING AGAINST ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. The Office of the Director General Security Matters is not unaware of the current tension in parts of the State following the unfortunate incident involving the death of Mr Oghenemine Ogidi in Effurun. We acknowledge the pain and concerns of citizens, and investigations into the matter are in full swing to ensure justice is served. 2.However, it has become necessary to address a disturbing trend arising from this incident. During a recent routine patrol by officers of Operation Delta Sweep, an individual accosted by them became unruly, questioned the lawful stop, and physically assaulted an officer by grabbing and dragging the officer's uniform. Contrary to what was being circulated, the officer involved is a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on official duty, not a Police Officer. 3.The State Government and all security agencies strongly condemn this act. While we understand public anger over the Oghenemine Ogidi’s incident, it must be emphasised that no citizen is permitted to take the law into their own hands, insult, or assault officers discharging their lawful duties. 4. In view of the above, we therefore warn the general public as follows: i. Desist from any form of assault, obstruction, or disrespect toward law enforcement officers. Such actions are criminal and will be met with the full weight of the law. not resort to self-help or mob action. Two wrongs do not make a right. all complaints of misconduct, brutality, or unlawful behaviour by any law enforcement agent to the appropriate authorities: the Police Complaints Response Unit, or the Office of the Director General, Security Matters. 5.We appeal for calm and urge citizens to allow the law to take its course in the Mene case. The security of lives and property requires the cooperation of all. Attacking officers makes policing difficult and endangers the entire community. The State Government remains committed to justice, accountability, and the protection of all residents. Hon. David Tonwe Director General, Security Matters/Coordinator Operation Sweep Delta Police NG, Complaint Response Unit (CRU) Delta State Police Command POLICE COMPLAINT Nigeria Police Force Aliyu Giwa
