Today I met the Hon'ble Education Minister of Manipur regarding a book which was prescribed as History book for Class XI syllabus of Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur. That book, named History of Manipur. It was written on page 9 Heading “The Kukis” second paragraph second line, that some Kuki Tribes migrated to Manipur hills in pre historic times. But according to ‘Manipur and Naga hills (1896)’ by Major Sir James Johnston, page 45, it was written that the term Kukis was heard between 1830 to 1840. So, the quote mentioned in the mention textbook is completely wrong to use the term "pre-historic". Therefore, I strongly urged to our Hon'ble Education Minister to completely ban this book which is still readily available in the market and make a press release or order from the Government side as the mentioned statement was taught for years to the Students. Further, there is also a conspiracy to include Anglo Kuki War in Delhi University's syllabus. It is already said by Ministry of Home Affairs that that there is no Anglo Kuki war 1917-1919. I will further inquire about it and will urge to take strict action against those who are related in this conspiracy.

Today I met the Hon'ble Education Minister of Manipur regarding a book which was prescribed as History book for Class XI syllabus of Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur. That book, named History of Manipur. It was written on page 9 Heading “The Kukis” second paragraph second line, that some Kuki Tribes migrated to Manipur hills in pre historic times. But according to ‘Manipur and Naga hills (1896)’ by Major Sir James Johnston, page 45, it was written that the term Kukis was heard between 1830 to 1840. So, the quote mentioned in the mention textbook is completely wrong to use the term "pre-historic". Therefore, I strongly urged to our Hon'ble Education Minister to completely ban this book which is still readily available in the market and make a press release or order from the Government side as the mentioned statement was taught for years to the Students. Further, there is also a conspiracy to include Anglo Kuki War in Delhi University's syllabus. It is already said by Ministry of Home Affairs that that there is no Anglo Kuki war 1917-1919. I will further inquire about it and will urge to take strict action against those who are related in this conspiracy.

ONGOING HOME AFFAIRS INVESTIGATION FINDS PRIMA FACIE INDICATIONS OF FRAUD COMMITTED BY CHIDIMMA ADETSHINA’S MOTHER HomeAffairsSA 🇿🇦 The Department of Home Affairs herewith provides an update on the ongoing investigation into the citizenship of Chidimma Adetshina, a contestant in the upcoming Miss SA event. The reason for the ongoing nature of the investigation is that its scope has broadened since the original request received from the organisers of Miss SA, based on the information uncovered by Home Affairs investigators thus far. The Department nonetheless provides this public update based on the official request received from Miss SA, as well as the consent provided by both the contestant and her mother. We will provide a final update once the investigation is concluded. On Monday, 05 August 2024, the organisers of the event sent the Department a request to verify the citizenship of a contestant, Chidimma Adetshina. This request was accompanied by written consent from both Adetshina and her mother. Upon receiving this request, the Department deployed every resource at its disposal to establish the truth. This has included archival research, visits to hospitals, and site visits to verify information. From the information we have uncovered thus far, the Department of Home Affairs can indicate that: • Prima facie reasons exist to believe that fraud and identity theft may have been committed by the person recorded in Home Affairs records as Chidimma Adetshina’s mother; • Adetshina could not have participated in the alleged unlawful actions of her • An innocent South African mother, whose identity may have been stolen as part of the alleged fraud committed by Adetshina’s mother, suffered as a result because she could not register her child; • The Department has broadened its investigation to identify and pursue any officials involved in the alleged fraudulent scheme, and is obtaining legal advice on the implications of the alleged fraudulent activity on Adetshina’s citizenship status; and • Upon the completion of the investigation, Home Affairs intends to press criminal charges against all implicated parties. There are ongoing engagements with all stakeholders, including Adetshina’s mother. This case, which stems from alleged fraudulent activities committed 23 years ago, highlights the urgent need for the digital modernisation of Home Affairs applications, adjudication and verification processes, to insulate the Department against fraudulent interference, similar to the reforms undertaken at the South African Revenue Service in the late 2000s. The case also highlights the reason for the Department’s blocking of certain duplicate IDs, and that the court-ordered unblocking of these documents must be handled with caution. Throughout this process, Home Affairs is guided by our commitment to both restoring and upholding the rule of the law as well as the rights of all parties. Mr. Pramot Singh, the patriarch of the Meitei extremist, radical youth grouping called Meitei Leepun has openly challenged both the Govt. of India and Govt. of Manipur. The extremist leader has assertively pointed out that the 3rd May mayhem that has hitherto not been contained is merely 'a tip of the iceberg' or a 'spark' of the impending doom to follow. He stated that Kangpokpi (Kanggui, in local parlance), a Kuki dominated district, some 15 kms away from Imphal will be wiped out as and when the so-called Salai Taret (infamous Seven Clans of Meiteis) becomes united as one. The atrocity meted out by it (Unified Meitei Clans) will be a force beyond the containing capabilities of the GoI and the State Government combined.His statement is implicit and amounts to waging war against the Indian State. His assertion is a warning call from the Meiteis that cannot be overlooked any longer. The Centre under IPC 124A must declare a sedition charge(s) against him and the organisation.
