Elon Musk and DOGE came for U.S. Forest Service jobs, now the Trump administration is coming for our public lands. So I’m running to fight back.

This evening, I joined distinguished guests, public servants and stakeholders at the Dinner and Award Night marking the grand finale of the 2026 Public Service Week celebrations. In appreciation of their hard work and unwavering service to our dear state, I announced the approval of the payment of 13th month salary for all Delta State civil servants. This decision reflects our administration’s enduring commitment to the welfare of our workforce.

Carney’s Budget Summary: -Biggest in history outside of pandemic -$141 Billion in NEW SPENDING -New spending to be funded by firing 40,000 public service workers -Budget EXPLICITLY calls for a “diverse” & “younger” workforce -Zero mention of Foreign Aid; does that mean it’s $0? OR Is Carney cooking the books and not disclosing the billions that will be sent overseas WHAT A DISASTER

President Biden has been an outstanding leader, not only of our nation, but the entire world. I have deep respect for his decades of public service and incredible appreciation for the work we’ve done together. But I believe the time has come for President Biden to pass the torch.

She won the election on a platform of jobs for all, industry in the service of the nation, public ownership, a welfare state from the cradle to the grave, and a new National Health Service.

Canada's public service should reflect the diversity of the population it serves. Today we announced a panel of experts who will provide recommendations to our government on the design & creation of a new Restorative Engagement Program for #GC employees.

Not one public service is performing better than when the SNP came to office almost 18 years ago. The UK Labour Government has delivered record funding of £5.2bn for Scotland. The SNP government must use this to provide a new direction for our public services, and our country.

The BBC is in crisis with many calling for it to be broken up and political attacks at home and abroad - time to save it from interference by partisan elites by putting the public truly at the heart of our public service broadcasting and mutualising it. Democracy not Donald must be its future! Share if you agree!

We have a army of #MLGW employees looking for leaks. We need the public to report all broken services. We will not be able to increase pressure or retain water service until we get a handle on these leaks. Please check closed businesses and unoccupied homes.

It’s moving season for many of our service members. We understand that the process is difficult and needs to be fixed. That’s why we are overhauling the PCS process to make it easier for our service members and their families.
