Makes me like JMac even more now. He’s one of the last masculine figures in the American Church left. Preston “Sprinkle” certainly isn’t in that camp.

Can he at least share the joke? If it’s not funny, I’ll be disappointed in JMac. If it is funny, I’ll laugh and love JMac more.

You can't trust anyone who doesn't make off-color jokes. Fat woman jokes count too. JMAC is the real deal.

I was out there for almost 10 years. I've talked to MacArthur privately in person and attended many functions at which he's spoken. While he has a good sense of humor, he's a man of decorum. I've never heard him give jokes like this and doubt he would in that context.

And yet at the beginning of this clip, they post a picture of the my big fat fabulous life fat girl.

I don’t believe him. He deceives about many things we can check, so he’s not entitled to the benefit of the doubt on things we can’t check.

So essentially, Preston found out that his hero wasn’t perfect…and then he threw out sound theology bc of it? 🤔 It seems to me that it’s common for progressive Christians to look for some failing in a person or a church to justify their journey away from biblical truth.

Boy, does this seem petty. And I am no disciple of John Mac.
