I will say Snowdrop and the RE engine are the two engines that keep surprising me with how versatile they are, 2d platformer, game emulated from the ds with no issues, 3d sandbox game, just to name a few

Ubisoft redemption arc. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is looking fantastic. Like a return to the old Ubisoft before all the BS that destroyed the studio. I have to say this makes we want to play the game. Some details: - Remake with anvil engine. - Upgraded combat - New content: new quests, characters and story - No multiplayer mode, focused on Edward's Caribbean story. A lot of original devs returned to help make this. Up for preorder now. Ubisoft really lost their way, culminating in the scuttling of the company and spinning of the best IPs to a new Tencent invested entity. Gotta say it's looking like they are starting to make the right moves.

First time installing GTA 5 Enhanced Edition on my PC and oh my god the graphics look insane. 🤯 Last time I played GTA 5 was in 2020 when I was playing the normal edition. I had no idea Rockstar Games had improved the graphics this much with ray traced shadows, reflections, global illumination, DLSS, FSR and more. I’m going to start a new playthrough of the Enhanced Edition before GTA 6 and experience the game all over again with these new settings.

My early impressions of SAROS after beating the first region. • Gameplay feels tight and fluid as expected • Crystal clear visuals with PSSR 2 and a smooth 60 FPS • Story is much easier to follow with a stronger narrative overall • Difficulty is for sure more accessible than Returnal so far but the first boss was still intense and took me a few tries. Again, still very early (I have a feeling that was just the tutorial). • Permanent progression is a welcome addition. Even if you die, you're still making progress towards your character so you can come back stronger. • Skill tree has everything from flat stat bonuses, to new abilities, and modifications to existing ones • Big fan of the art design, the eclipse looks really cool • Great soundtrack and excellent 3D audio • Dualsense features are incredible, holding the trigger halfway gives each weapon an alternate fire mode #SAROS #PS5

Ubisoft has kindly provided me with about 12 minutes of new Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced gameplay Here are some of the biggest key highlights: - Ton of footage from a new mission involving recruiting one of the Jackdaw's three new comrades: Lucy Baldwin. This mission appears to be quite in-depth and quite long. - Crouch, manually toggle hood, hide in shadows and hide HUD with a button press all as new features - New gear such as swords, pistols, and ship customization items can now be found out in the world in treasure chests, previously most items were simply bought at stores - 6 hours of new story content including a new Epilogue sequence, written by original writer Darby Mcdevitt - There are new interior spaces to buildings - Guards have new dialogue, adding further to immersion - Interact with animals in new ways such as feeding turtles food - While hidden blade combat is not in the game, you can still counter kill with the hidden blade and do hidden blade finishers if you don't pull out your sword, however you cannot attack with them. - Pistol finishers make a return and are fully intact from how they were in the original - You can now manually choose which shanty you want to listen to, from a new shanties wheel menu - Menus are akin to the RPG style, with a similar inventory screen but AC4 Resynced is not an RPG. The success of the recently released co-op mod for Resident Evil 4 Remake appears to have sparked a new wave of multiplayer projects across the Resident Evil modding community. 🛠️ Modder HeySnippy is now developing a fully playable co-op mod for Resident Evil 3 Remake, allowing two players to experience Jill Valentine’s campaign together. According to the project’s current goals, the mod aims to support synchronized gameplay, shared progression, enemy synchronization, cutscenes, and campaign-wide co-op from start to finish. 😳 The project is being built on a custom networking framework called Snippyet, featuring account authentication via email, Discord, and Steam, along with a friends list, session management, and the ability to join games using room codes or direct friend invitations. Another planned feature will allow players to drop items on the ground instead of discarding them, making it possible to share ammunition, healing items, and other resources with their co-op partner. 🎯 According to the developer, the most technically challenging milestones have already been completed, with development now focused on polishing gameplay systems and expanding features to deliver a seamless co-op experience.
