Something I feel enormously fortunate to have covered directly was Kyle Busch's 100th career O'Reilly Series win at Nashville in 2021. There's also a story from the press conference I'd like to share. Nashville 2021 was the first "normal" race weekend after peak COVID, which meant the garage was open and media availabilities would take place in the media center instead of remotely over Zoom (including from the press box). It was my first race working as a reporter in the media center, and I was still getting my bearings as far as in-person press conferences and talking off the cuff as opposed to doing things over Zoom. Daniel McFadin asked Kyle about which of his 100 wins were his favorites, a question which I had also wanted to ask. Kyle started talking about them and also about some of the ones he missed out on - Namely his debut at Charlotte in '03, which gave him a chance to take a tongue-in-cheek dig at all the criticism he got for racing in the series as much as he did. "That would've been cool. Damn Kenseth. Those Cup guys, they shouldn't run Xfinity. I don't know why they do." Kyle then got asked about the origins of the bow and recalled it starting with a win at Charlotte, but he couldn't remember the year - at which point I interjected "4!", which got him rolling again but maybe was a bit bold of me to do as someone who was still very new. It was my turn to ask a question next so I asked him about some of the sponsorship partners from all of his wins in the series and if he had heard from any of them. Afterwards, Kyle walked by my workspace while I still had the Racing Reference page for Charlotte 2004 up, so I mentioned it to Kyle again and quickly summarized with something along the lines of this: "It says you beat McMurray, Harvick, and Stewart that day. They were all in the top five." To which Kyle showed a bit of the quick wit he had: "Damn Cup guys."

Day 6: What a glorious morning in the USA. We've only been in this beautiful country for 6 days and we absolutely love it. It's been a long time since I've seen my wife this happy and hopeful. The overwhelming kindness and real concern and care our community extends towards us pushes us upwards and pushes us forward. Today started slow after our meeting with our resettlement agency was rescheduled 1hr later. As updated previously someone from Spangler Restoration did come assess the mold and we're expecting a full clean by tomorrow. Will follow up, but will keep the mold updates separate from now on because it will not get us down or beat us down nor distract us from all the wonderful aspects of our journey. That said we'll give them hell should they stutter or falter. We will also conduct our own testing with a 5 minute mold test and sample kit that will get sent to a lab proudly gifted to us by American patriots who bought it for us in our Amazon wish list. We met with the resettlement agency and they went over information and asked us how we are doing and how the last 5 days have been. They are too keeping an eye on the mold issue and are also waiting for the next update from management. They explained our documentation and informed us again that we entered approved to work immediately. We have work authorization from day 1. However, some employers are too cautious employing illegals and as such people with our documentation face challenges getting employed before and EAD card and SSN card has been issued. We'll have to see them tomorrow again. This if for signing of consent forms apply as proxy for SSN etc. I informed the agency that I've applied with Rides for Refugees who could potentially hook us up with a donated vehicle which would make the world of difference to be able to travel with my son to appointments. There is still a big journey lying ahead for us. More medical assessments and SSA visits etc. My body is aching from the physical labor after doing the fibre trenches yesterday. I can hardly walk. 😂 I overdid It while shadowing with the ride along yesterday. Apparently it takes about 2 weeks to get work fit. If they contract me I will take the offer immediately and I'll start with training after two weeks of digging fibre trenches. I'm coming from journalism and web hosting office jobs into the sun and I'm totally game for it. Anything to start earning dollars and it's an industry I want to get into. So it's win win and I can't be more grateful for this opportunity. Back in South Africa I would've never have had this opportunity. I can't wait to find out if and when I start. One of you kind people gifted me work boots and cargo pants from ma Amazon wish list. So I'm ready on day one. And another wonderful person on X I'm forever grateful for, gifted me peace of mind, for when I have to go off to work leaving my wife and baby behind, we now have a ring doorbell camera installed this evening letting both of us know of any trouble or visitors while healing our angst and worry, PTSD, we undoubtedly brought with us from South Africa. We have also received the gifted Air purifier this afternoon and it's already doing wonders in our single bedroom where Nova sleeps with us, where it will help ease the odors, it's affects, albeit temporarily, and will help us have a proper rest during the night for the first time until the specialists clean the HVAC. I will be posting pictures and thanking individuals who opened their hearts. I will never forget what your doing for us, for my family, for my son. I have sacrificed my son's past, his Afrikaner culture and to a degree his Afrikaans language for a future in which he can reach his full potential, he will grow up American and we all including my family will fight to protect American values and the future of this great nation, & I am and will always be a proud Amerikaner dad. DEI policy dismissed women's changeroom complaints — now Regina police investigate alleged indecent exposure A man is being investigated for alleged indecent exposure at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan — the same man our friend Bev described in our last episode of No Balls in Women’s Stalls. The City of Regina dismissed the women; DEI policy sided with the man. After weeks of his undressing going unaddressed, and after hundreds of potential victims — including babies and grandmothers — Rebel News showed up in the parking lot between Aquasize and toddler swimming lessons and captured exclusive footage of the man in question. One of this man’s alleged victims, whom I had the privilege of speaking to, is of such a tender age that, when we went to report the offence against her to the Regina Police Service, she did not know what they meant by the word “surname” on the paperwork she had to fill out. But the accounts of both women, like Bev, and girls, our little Baby Bear (who will remain anonymous) at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre are strikingly similar: A nervous, quick-moving figure with a bald head appears in the female-only space. "How sad," they all think. "A lady with cancer — the same disease that took the life of Saskatchewan's beloved Sandra Schmirler back in 2002." The women and children, in varying states of undress, tend to their own business. It’s not polite to stare. From the waist up and from behind, the figure appears to be a slope-shouldered, small-breasted, stocky woman with cancer. Only then, when all of the women and children have been lulled into a false sense of security and their guards are down, do they realize they’re next to a naked man — close enough to touch. For weeks, the City of Regina did nothing on behalf of the women, despite their repeated and traumatized requests. Then there is Chantal. She is the Mama Bear to our Baby Bear. In nature, it is universally acknowledged that mother bears, who invest heavily in both time and resources in raising their cubs, will react defensively — and, if necessary, with ferocity — when threatened. She should be commended for her commitment to her family. And for every person saying, “Where are the men?!” or “If that was my daughter...,” Cliff is the guy we’ve all been waiting for. Cliff is Chantal’s dad, a farmer and a quintessential Saskatchewan man. After learning that his daughter and grandchildren had been affected by this occurrence in the female changeroom, he got up extra early and drove an hour from the farm to the city so that his baby wouldn’t have to face the man by herself for a third day in a row. DEI policy dismissed women's changeroom complaints — now Regina police investigate alleged indecent exposure A man is being investigated for alleged indecent exposure at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan — the same man our friend Bev described in our last episode of No Balls in Women’s Stalls. The City of Regina dismissed the women; DEI policy sided with the man. After weeks of his undressing going unaddressed, and after hundreds of potential victims — including babies and grandmothers — Rebel News showed up in the parking lot between Aquasize and toddler swimming lessons and captured exclusive footage of the man in question. One of this man’s alleged victims, whom I had the privilege of speaking to, is of such a tender age that, when we went to report the offence against her to the Regina Police Service, she did not know what they meant by the word “surname” on the paperwork she had to fill out. But the accounts of both women, like Bev, and girls, our little Baby Bear (who will remain anonymous) at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre are strikingly similar: A nervous, quick-moving figure with a bald head appears in the female-only space. "How sad," they all think. "A lady with cancer — the same disease that took the life of Saskatchewan's beloved Sandra Schmirler back in 2002." The women and children, in varying states of undress, tend to their own business. It’s not polite to stare. From the waist up and from behind, the figure appears to be a slope-shouldered, small-breasted, stocky woman with cancer. Only then, when all of the women and children have been lulled into a false sense of security and their guards are down, do they realize they’re next to a naked man — close enough to touch. For weeks, the City of Regina did nothing on behalf of the women, despite their repeated and traumatized requests. Then there is Chantal. She is the Mama Bear to our Baby Bear. In nature, it is universally acknowledged that mother bears, who invest heavily in both time and resources in raising their cubs, will react defensively — and, if necessary, with ferocity — when threatened. She should be commended for her commitment to her family. And for every person saying, “Where are the men?!” or “If that was my daughter...,” Cliff is the guy we’ve all been waiting for. Cliff is Chantal’s dad, a farmer and a quintessential Saskatchewan man. After learning that his daughter and grandchildren had been affected by this occurrence in the female changeroom, he got up extra early and drove an hour from the farm to the city so that his baby wouldn’t have to face the man by herself for a third day in a row. We captured the moment Cliff and I met — and, at the same time, a man later confirmed by witnesses to be the individual in question passed right beside us in the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre parking lot. NEW QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSINATION (MORE ARE POPPING UP EVERY HOUR): An event 1/4 of this size with a nobody speaker would have ambulances immediately on scene for emergency situations like this. What about the Jew decoy they trotted out (George Zinn), who also just happens to be a key witness that reported seeing planes flying into the twin towers on 9/11/01, AND has connections to the Boston Marathon bombing? How did the supposed shooter—according to the official story we're being given—take apart the gun and stuff it in his backpack & pants in seconds (not possible according to experts), then escape the scene without being seen lugging around these giant gun parts, then REASSEMBLE THE GUN BACK TOGETHER AGAIN to leave it nicely in a box in the forest.
