@TedLogan1010 @phone_booth_pod @BillSEsquire_11 @No_Curve These ass-hats try very hard to convince us that plentiful resources are actually scarce. If they can dictate our reality, they dictate our lives. We are being played by people who like to break their toys.

First of all, a massive reason for our drouts IS drilling for water. That's because, especially where I live in San Joaquin Valley, Ca, farmers drill deeper and deeper for free water. Then water trees, turning the water into almonds and other fruit. It removes it from the natural cycle, and makes next year more dry. Yes, earth creates water miles deep, but it takes many years to become useful water near surface. Water Drilling already is unregulated, and it doesn't help poor people lol. It helps rich farmers and corporations who can afford million dollar drilling operations, then use up the water for their enterprise. Poor people aren't going to drill for themselves and just enjoy the water any time soon.
