A Thread On A Huge Upcoming Weekend For Cinema 🧵: Next weekend is one of the biggest weekends Cinema will experience this decade. I couldn’t be more excited if I tried: Primetime, Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother, and Heart of the Beast all hit theaters. Three massive releases headlined by three massive stars, all dropping on the same exact day in middle of Autumn. Movies are so incredibly back. 1. Primetime (2026; Oppenheim): This is one of my most anticipated releases of 2026 for just so many countless reasons, I don’t even know where to start. Robert Pattinson continues his historic year, returning to theaters as Chris Hansen, the star of To Catch A Predator. I think this is the vehicle that will take Pattinson to the 2027 Oscars & will nab him a Best Actor nom. Also on my radar is Skyler Gisondo, whom I’ve heard is excellent here. If this film has even a shred of Nightcrawler’s quality, I’ll leave the theater next Friday a happy camper. One of 2026’s biggest films is about to drop in a one week, headlined by one of Cinema’s brightest stars.
