⛰️ I just… I just like working hard. Whatever it is. You only get one life, right? So I just want to work hard without any regrets. Because I don’t think I’d be happy if I were loved without working hard. Then this time, after consistently working hard for 8 years, I received love, and only then, when I felt it myself, I realized, “Woah, I’m really being loved right now.” So I’m grateful that it turned out that way. If I hadn’t worked hard and had just gotten by on talent, and if I had just gotten lucky, I don’t think I would’ve been that happy. ⛰️ I think I was standing for almost half of the flight time. Since I’ve just been dancing continuously from when I was young and doing things like that*, my body isn’t really in good condition. But now, since the situation was such that I had to keep going anyway, I told the flight attendant, “I’m sorry, but would it be okay if I stand for a bit?” ⛰️ When I say it like this, it sounds like I’m making a show of it, but I just wanted to tell you how much it meant to me/how sincere I was about it. Although, Princess Catherine tried her hand at brewing some Ale, she declined to try beer and cider, telling the owner Hannah Rhodes: "Since my diagnosis I haven't had much alcohol. My wife says I’m a “messy cook” because I don’t clean as I go like she does. I’m the same way with software and music: I focus on what I’m doing so I can keep moving forward, then I clean up when I’m done. Cleaning as I go distracts me from the task at hand. Marc Andreessen recently said that when writing software it takes 2 hours to get into what you’re doing, then you work for 10 hours then take another 2 to unplug. That’s the kind of clarinet practicing I did in my 20s – it was maniacal but it got me where I wanted to go.

Qullamaggie on How Trading Becomes Second Nature “Since you joined Twitch and StockBee. You don’t have time to sleep. Yeah because you’re putting in effort to learn this skill. I’ve already put in the effort. For me it’s autopilot. It’s second nature. I sometimes do the study of setups. But like it’s become second nature to me. Because I’ve done it for so many years. It’s a reflex. I don’t have to put in a lot of effort anymore. It’s like driving a car. When you’re new it’s a lot of effort. Especially if you are in Europe at least like. 13 year 14 years ago when I was trying to get my driver’s license. Most cars were manual so you have to do the shifting. You have to pay attention to all the signs. All the traffic rules, and it takes a lot of effort. Now it’s second nature - I don’t have to think when I drive. It’s all reflexes. Like parallel parking. That was a really hard thing for me to learn. It took a lot of effort. And now I can just perfectly parallel park 9 times out of 10. Without any kind of effort. And if I had put in some effort. ⭐️: What am I into these days? These days? These days, I kind of just… I think I’m living in a sort of "no‑thoughts" state. I don’t really have emotional ups and downs, just… I'm calm. I kind of, I don’t really know my feelings these days. It’s not like my emotions are going up and down a lot or anything, but then, when I met a friend of mine and we talked I realized I actually have more worries than I thought. But I also wonder if I just didn’t have the space to talk about them. So, on one hand... I don’t know if I have a lot of worries or if I just don’t have thoughts. With work, work is busy too but sometimes I even wonder if I’m actually busy. Because when you do so many schedules… you don’t really feel it. Like, maybe I am really busy but I just can’t feel it. No, It’s not a slump. It’s pretty far from a slump. A slump is when work doesn’t go well and doing things feels hard, but I’m not like that. When I work, it’s fun and exciting, I just don’t really have emotional highs and lows. So I wonder if maybe this is actually a good thing?That’s how it is. I don’t think you need to worry about this, but actually, I did have a lot of worries and concerns… I just didn’t realize I was worrying about them? Yeah.
