@PhotoGhibli Second archer made a U-turn after witnessing that headshot

@PhotoGhibli You can actually see the samurai duck his head so the arrow will hit the armor

@PhotoGhibli

@PhotoGhibli If you spend over 3000 hours playing Mount & Blade, you can do it too!

@PhotoGhibli I appreciate the last guy having the brains to nope the fuck outta there after watching his mate get decapitated.

@PhotoGhibli Would you go fight a guy who just cut your bros head off with one shot from a bow at 200 yards?

@PhotoGhibli The way bro #4 dipped when bro #3 dropped....

@PhotoGhibli For anyone wondering, The guy in blue (Ashitaka) has a demon boar curse on his arm, making him stronger than 20 men. His arrows are made of stone, so they're blunt. He's able to shoot the dudes head off with his stone arrows because of this.

@PhotoGhibli Did Marvel copy the arrow catch and return clip with Hawkeye? 🤔

@PhotoGhibli The arrow catch and reuse, and his handling of both the bow and the sword at the same time... Great scene.

@PhotoGhibli Cartoons are not the same anymore. Make cartoons great again

@PhotoGhibli Crazy to think my parents let me watch this when I was younger

@PhotoGhibli most realistic armor scene

@PhotoGhibli I love Spirited Away but Princess Mononoke made me feel out of breath: So much is happening yet every scene seems indispensable to the story. It's also refreshing nuanced, not just the usual black and white good guys vs bad guys. There is so much depth in this movie

@PhotoGhibli they don’t make em anymore like this :(

@PhotoGhibli Normally, the scene would depict the arrow flying in from the right, but by having the arrow suddenly appear at the exact moment Ashitaka grabs it, it greatly heightens the sense of dynamism and energy.

@PhotoGhibli There’s something uniquely horrifying at how easily he was able to take out several trained samurai and not even try.

@PhotoGhibli The first anime I saw.

@PhotoGhibli one of the best movies ever made bruh

@PhotoGhibli I remember like 20 years ago Toonami aired Princess Mononoke for the first time and after this scene played they immediately cut to commercial and started airing something else. 9 year old me was very confused.

@PhotoGhibli When I saw it with my little daughter, she cried at this scene. So then I did not evaluate this work since the catoon should be for children. But she grew up and I saw it again. I found that it's not for children, but for adults who forgot the fantacy.

@PhotoGhibli My favorite of the lot. Thank you so much for this gem 🙏

@PhotoGhibli Amazing movie♥️

@PhotoGhibli ever since i first watched this movie that headshot at the end has lived in my head rent free

@PhotoGhibli Yeah imma have to watch this shi

@PhotoGhibli dude i fucking love this movie it's so peak

@PhotoGhibli Believe it or not, yesterday I was thinking about this scene after I watched this movie many years ago . I do not know why I just remembered it. Next day , today I see it in this app . What does it mean?

@PhotoGhibli One of my favorite movies

@PhotoGhibli Casually catching the arrow midair and firing it back is still one of the coolest things I've ever seen animated

@PhotoGhibli A super hyper master piece

@PhotoGhibli Return to sender.

@PhotoGhibli Ashita was strong, but by the cursed power, he is more stronger.

@PhotoGhibli One of my favourites, along with castle in the sky. Animation is gorgeous, they create such a beautiful world... And the soundtrack is just incredible. Nothing comes close to this level of care and creativity. Pure art

@PhotoGhibli An absolute masterpiece.
