“Privatisation has failed because there is no market in water. It should be seen as a public good, not something for somebody to make a profit from.” Well said Chrissie, couldn’t agree more. #water #floodthestreets #marchforcleanwater #publicownershipnow #thameswater

Tory - Centrist collusion: Rentier capitalism: 2024: Labour has voted with the Tories to weaken Ofwat's ability to fine water companies for sewage pollution.

2018 "Angela Smith (Labour) is in the pocket of the water industry" 2019 "MPs including Angela Smith quit (Corbyn's) Labour" 2020 "Angela Smith joins Portsmouth Water"

I totally agree. (Most of her points also can be applied to all the privatised industries. We need a lot of renationalising: rail, energy, post office, health etc…

I agree. Hope you've told @Keir_Starmer and your MP.

Renationalise now

ALL MONOPOLIES -Water, Health, Electricity, Gas, etc should be re-nationalised and run for the good of WE THE PEOPLE.

Wake up world! Big business has got lazy. Instead of risking investment in new products that may or may not fail, they are after making their millions from our utilities. Food, water, energy, medicine, all the essentials of life which we should all own with no profit involved.

PUBLIC OWNERSHIP NOW

Hear hear 👏👏👏

Where would the money come from to buy back the shares?
