Privatizing public education will create an increasingly segregated school system in America – not just based on race, but by class. We must not have a two-tier educational system: Private schools for the wealthy, and public schools for low-income and working-class students.

Democrats have destroyed the department of education.

Bernie, you’ve been in government longer than some people’s parents have been alive, and the public school system is still a disaster. You talk about ‘two-tier education’ while sending your own grandkids to elite private schools. Your policies have done nothing but trap kids in failing, underfunded schools while your rich donor friends buy their way out. The only thing more outdated than your economic takes is your campaign strategy—just another grift disguised as empathy.

You’re a genocidal maniac who backstabbed one of your most loyal supporters yesterday. You of all people should’ve voted to confirm Tulsi after everything she’s done for you even if all Democrats opposed her. Toothless, partisan coward. I’m not listening to anything you say.

Privatizing education doesn't segregate, it liberates. It empowers parents to choose schools that best fit their children's needs, regardless of income. A two-tiered system already exists - it's called "good schools" vs. "failing schools" under the current public system. Competition drives quality.

A privatized school system will sort kids by wealth, not just by merit. The rich get top-tier education, everyone else gets underfunded scraps. That’s not choice—it’s inequality.

No, Bernie, we're not going to settle for everyone being dragged down the pace of the worst. We can do much better.

This is absurd on its face. Some of the poorest performing schools (NYC) are also some of the most well funded. If it was a money issue, NYC schools should be at the top
