👀 Pro Referees have released the full VAR audio and video for the Hassani Dotson disallowed goal in the Seattle Sounders vs. Colorado Rapids match last weekend. Pro Referees have admitted they made an error in requesting a on field review

Far too long for a clear and obvious error. Definitely not a foul, but when you slow it down frame by frame and look at it for 5 minutes, you're bound to find something. Poor on VAR this time

It’s funny because that’s what we were saying on our post match show. It always seemed as if this was a VAR issue.

VAR says no foul and then later works to persuade on field ref that it was a foul. 🙈

I couldn’t stand hearing the main VAR guy. He sounds like one of those people looking to make an impact. Needs to be right. Needs to do something to be seen.

If it takes this long going over it, with a team of video refs, then the goal should stand. VAR are looking for reasons to not give a goal. VAR and these clowns 🤡 are killing the game

Why is this cut short?!

The player on the ground wasn’t playing any attacking team onside, it was the one on his feet next to him. Even slowed down that odds never a foul, only intent was to challenge for the ball. Bet the player got up and carried on the game afterwards

there is not enough contact with the head to warrant a foul. just because a player embellishes a head injury and goes down doesn’t mean its a foul especially if both players are fairly challenging…who is hiring these refs

I thought our var was bad in the uk This is desperate - especially the ‘he can’t defend cos he’s on the floor. And he’s not keeping the scorer onside. The referee was trying his best and the var should have taken that and shut up.

There was a contact and in the end they took the right decision! But was it serious enough to disallow the goal? That's where it gets tricky cause VAR is not consistent in these situations

Never let these guys VAR again

I would say that they need to zoom up to see if there was contact or if the players flopping
