✨ Okay with lots of help from Javi Lopez ⛩️ and his Spanish scraping friends I've managed to vibe code my own ScrapingBee alternative and replace my $249/mo Scrapingbee plan with my own $1/mo scraper running on my VPS! First I tried OpenSERP, an open source project that seems freshly maintained but it didn't work on my VPS IP or laptop IP and got blocked fast Then I tried to use residential IP proxies from IPRoyal but they were already quite tainted IPs meaning Google already knew they were scrapers and just blocked about 60% of them already, not so great, also didn't work! Then I discovered OpenSERP uses a vanilla headless Chrome, Google instantly detects that and blocks that, so literally the entire repo is useless cause it won't even work? I don't get why they don't say that in the docs? OpenSERP is even worse than just basic CURL, as my AI said: "plain curl got 7% blocked but OpenSERP's headless browser got 100% blocked" So then I just built my own with Playwright and a real Google Chrome on my VPS, headful and persistent context, and slow pacing like every 30 seconds or so And I got some better residential IP recommendations (which I can't tell you because thenhey t stop working!) Now I'm at about 90% success rate, which is similar or better than Scrapingbee And it costs me ~$1/mo (measured by GBs, obviously for text scraping I barely use a lot) instead of the $249/mo I paid Scrapingbee! My only remaining SaaS now are: - Cloudflare Domains - Cloudflare Email Sending - Cloudflare R2 Storage - Backblaze B2 for backups - Hetzner for all my servers for all my sites (VPS) - xAI for all LLMs for all my sites (so many things like moderation, writing emails, anything)

Tip! I just found this out, thanks to the birds for making me aware this was a thing. If you input dash then do parry to get drive rush you will only use 1 bar of drive gauge, instead of roughly 1.3-1.5. (If you see the parry it uses more)

Ben Shapiro keeps dunking on Candace Owens. And I’m here for every second of it. Pro tip: Don’t pick fights with people who outclass you on every intellectual level.

The state of botlane in season 16 is vomit inducing. If you play normal adcs u just make ur life 10x harder than when u can pick random mages first time and have 10x more impact on the game.

🇺🇸 Anti-ICE protesters are literally trying to get hit by ICE vehicles in Minnesota. They’re jumping in front of cars to get it on video and play victim for the cameras. If you see one get hit, odds are they were aiming for it.

These just get more and more chilling. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE you see in this video is entirely computer generated. None of it is real.

Today we’re releasing an early version of a new feature called Tip Cards. We built Tip Cards after seeing people all over the world tipping each other with Cash Links for their contributions online eg. posting good content, responding to questions, moderating group chats, and many others. Tip Cards simplify this experience by enabling every Code user to create their own personalized Tip Card and accept tips from anyone in the world. To create your Tip Card, simply connect your Twitter/X account in the Code app and your personalized Tip Card will be instantly generated for you. You can then share it as a link or get someone to scan it. (Video below of how to create your Tip Card) We’re rolling out this early version of Tip Cards to get feedback on this new payment type and test the Twitter APIs at scale. We plan to add more features to the tipping experience as we go, so your feedback is appreciated. Please try it out and let us know what you think. If you post your Tip Card and tag Code we’ll send you a tip!

Are you having a difficult time getting the FREE Hack 'n Slasher picaxe in Fortnite Ranked this season? Just do this and you'll get it in no time. Use the Toy Soldier skin and make her red and land on the red trees in the center of the map. I've gotten top 10 every single match except once. Try it out and let me know how it works for you. Shout out to the homie Orange Man for giving me the tip to do this. You're the GOAT bro! Thank you!

Vercel and Netlify charge $20/seat a month. Heroku killed its free tier. Go over your bandwidth and you get surprise bills, sometimes thousands. There's an open-source alternative to all three. For $0. It's called Coolify. You install it on any server you own, a $5 VPS, a Raspberry Pi, an old laptop, anything with SSH. Then you deploy everything from one dashboard. > Static sites, full-stack apps, databases, and APIs > 280+ one-click services (WordPress, Ghost, n8n, Supabase, and more) > Free auto-renewing SSL and automatic S3 backups > Pull request preview deployments > Push-to-deploy from GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket No vendor lock-in. Your configs live on your server, so if you stop using Coolify, everything still runs. A 5-person team on Vercel pays $100-500/month. The same team on a $5 VPS with Coolify pays $5. Total. 100% Free. Open Source.
