The jab has a use for basically any style you wanna enforce. Van is a boxer puncher, he wants fighters to either stay in place for his combinations or throw back to counter. The jab works many jobs there, it's a safe long range scoring tool that slowly chips away at fighters not willing to engage, making the likelihood of something being eventually thrown back at you bigger by every connection. It also controls the pace of the fight, if you're using the jab to draw attacks you're dictating the pace and controlling the initiative, this translates in easier counters. And if they just defend, you can follow up in combination according to their reactions.

💔🥺I received a call very early this morning, to say that my uncle's house was targeted by tanks and my nephew was painfully injured in his side. We dread these moments, my friends, when you see that a family member is calling and you have to worry what will be on the other side.. I have just received word that his injuries are minor, and hopefully, he will be released from the hospital tomorrow. After trying to process this terrible news this morning, I also received word that our dear friend Aboud has been hospitalised again, due to very poor health. I cannot describe how I am feeling today, my friends. It would mean a lot if you could pray for my nephew and for Aboud to recover, if you'd like to. Things here are quickly deteriorating, and the aggression toward us is escalating very quickly. I do not know how long we will have. I did not know what to do myself, so I did what was familiar, and my cousin and I cooked a rice meal for the camp to make the people there very happy. We will not stop this work until they force us, my dear friends. Please stand by us, in any way you possibly can. I am just a man, pleading with the world as our homeland is crashing down on top of us. I do not want to be another number, I do not want my children to suffer this terror. While I support the fight for justice and rights, this movement has been too muddied up by the elements that have infiltrated it. While I have premium I definitely want to do a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...

After 50 hours, God of war Sons of Sparta Platinum 100% is done! Full thoughts: - The game gets better and better the more you play - Boss fights where awesome - Fun to see Kratos as a kid but also wish you could play sections in 2D as the adult - OST is incredible - From a Metroivania point of view it's decent, it's not the best but also not the worst - From a god of war perspectively it's definitely better, it has a lot of old school stuff - Side stuff where ok, mostly not needed - I really like the art style, playstation definitely needs more different art styles Basically there are 2 sides here, if you're a god of war fan then obviously this is a must play since it adds to the lore, story and pure fun. So that way worth asking price However if you're a Metroivania super fan or casual GOW fan then better to wait for a sale if you want to play it. Either way, it's a fun game and Sony needs imo more of these "smaller" scale games.

The people who made the OVAs shown from time and time again that they have faith in their viewers that they'll be able to understand the world building that culminated to this point. You can start the other shows prior to this, either before or after this OVA and it will still feel like a proper climax leading up to this. The story beats in this show are pretty good in the sense that anyone can understand it, it's not universally profound but it does a good job in highlighting perspectives of every side and have a glimpse at what happened that lead up to it.

🤒😭Unfortunately I am very unwell, my friends. I have not been feeling my best the past couple of days, and I have been growing more tired every minute. Last night was miserable, I was in so much pain I could not sleep, the pain in my head and in my body was causing me hallucinations and I felt as though I would die. This morning was not any better and I was so dizzy I could not see properly, and I felt so tired I could not describe it. I have just returned from the hospital, my friends, where I was able to receive a treatment to help me feel only a little better. I am still so exhausted, not only physically but mentally too. The fear of famine and death in a horrific way is still on my mind, even through this terrible pain. I'd be very grateful if you could pray for us all, for a better situation ahead, and for an end to this cruelty against us. Guys will see this kind of thing and think it’s instruction, but they don’t read the fine print: 1️⃣ This girl is married yet still posting thirst traps online 2️⃣ She is clearly ADVERTISING herself for someone; someone who is NOT the husband (the husband already has her!) 3️⃣ Further, she is bragging about what she is able to get her husband to do and how easy she has it (i.e., he is way more invested in her than she is in him) Many men assume that, “The easier and more comfortable I make life for my woman, the more indebted to me she’ll be for all that comfort and ease, the more grateful she’ll be for how spoiled rotten I’ve made her, and the less motivation she’ll have than ever to look for other guys!” This assumption is based on one very WRONG misunderstanding of women, however: That what women really want is ‘stuff’. Material comforts. ‘Nice things’. It is easy for men to get this misunderstanding, because women will constantly tell you they DO want ‘stuff’. Just like how children will tell you they want stuff: • “I want this present!” • “Will you buy me that gift?” • “A new version of that came out! Can we get it?” But if you spoil a child rotten, that does not make the child ‘forever grateful’ to you. Likewise, spoiling a woman rotten does not make her forever grateful either. The harsh reality is a woman’s loyalty has NOTHING to do with how much or how little you spend on her. You can spend on her if you want to and if it makes you feel good. But you should treat it like charity; it is like giving alms to the poor. That is, it is not an action you should expect anything back from. You can spoil her rotten but still have her posting thirst traps online, showing herself off and advertising for other men. (In this chick’s other videos, she shows herself getting a nose job, and looking at the camera flirting and ignoring her man even when he is on camera next to her paying her attention. This husband is a placeholder.) Likewise, you can spend nothing on her at all yet have her be fiercely devoted to you. If you want a woman to actually be LOYAL to you: ✅ She needs to do things for YOU. She needs to work hard in the relationship. She needs to invest in it. She needs to be putting thought into how she is going to keep you satisfied. ✅ She needs to be getting it from you hard enough in the bedroom that she is so sexually sated she doesn’t even want to think about other men or feel any need to bother to act outwardly flirtatious in public to entice other men in. ✅ She needs to be at least a little more attentive to you than you are to her. There is no such thing as ‘true equality’ except in the imagined world of Platonic ideals. In reality, someone will always be working a little harder to gain the other’s attention. For an actual healthy relationship, the one working a little bit harder MUST BE the woman! Again: buy her stuff if you really want to. But, like spoiling a child rotten, don’t delude yourself thinking that, “If I keep her comfortable enough, she’ll be so happy and loyal!” There is ZERO relationship between “spending on her” and “keeping her in-love and loyal.” These two things are completely unrelated. Contact in the desert was the biggest ever this year and so was the sky watch. We witnessed dozens of orbs. With 5 minutes left before the hotel turned the lights on, I told more than a 1000k people present why pointing my laser in a certain direction that the phenomenon may give us a grand Finale and it may be an orb with wings. Within seconds a glowing orb with wings appeared and flew past the crowd. VTubing is for everyone! I don't like to bring this up, but recent events in the VTuber community made some people really vile. I had my M&G at HolMat last week and had people come up and just yell at me for being a girl in the "womans world", that is VTubing, no idea about who I was, or why I was there. I had the same group return to my handler multiple times, I felt really worried about the person carrying me around having to deal with this repeatedly and tried to steer them away from the group. It seems they found my YT and left me a handful of the same comments, luckily all caught by moderation tools. While I will refrain from M&G's for a little until this calms down I want to say this; I have been managing for over 1.5 years now, I deliberately take on male VTubers to show them that they can still do it. I take on people that have babiniku accounts, those that are changing from one gender presentation to another and want help, and those that have no gender presentation in their avatar. A lot of male VTubers struggle to find a manager because the stereotype is that all male VTubers are evil and it perpetuates a stereotype that extends beyond entertainment industry subcultures like streaming. VTubing has always been a medium, while character and marketing matters, it's about what makes you happy, YOU are the person that makes the content. Use whatever you want as an avatar, use a voice changer if that's what you want to do. Every month I have a male client bring up they can't do it the same way, that it's easier if jiggle physics or a cute voice is the answer to fast growth. And I tell them yeah, I can also do ASMR, I can do drama content, collab with a larger person, and get to x amount of viewers. There are shortcuts in every entertainment profession and subculture. Does it last? Do quick fixes for anything ever last? Yes, great physics and an expensive model can get people in, but if your value, your way of interacting with people, your content plan and marketing is ass, you can pack up. Most of us start on a small budget, premade or resold models, and it's the same in the big league entertainment industry too. Can I take out a loan and put myself on a billboard tomorrow, can I pay the most expensive model artist and rigger and get in along corporate VTubers tomorrow? Sure. Will it last, will it be genuine, will people trust me? Hell no. Genuine communities and growth build trust. I think streaming, creative industries, entertainment, are full of people, regardless of gender, that will see success and call it "easy", because of what they see as the end product. They don't see most VTubers working a second job, they don't see the managers, they don't see 100+ hours a month going into content production, years invested in singing and voice lessons, model redebut after redebut. I think a lot of male VTubers get a bad rep, because so many boys are raised without putting emphasis on empathy and creativity, watching my brothers be told they should not pursue art, that theatre class is a waste of time, and that they needed to go study x or y to make money for their families in the future was heartbreaking. Nobody should have to look at others and feel so much hatred for society they turn against a whole group of people. If you want to pursue entertainment, please do. If you want to grow and try and make a name for yourself, you should start there, not with yelling about how you already failed. "Oh but I can't", "Oh but the odds are stacked against me", look at the big streamers, look at Ironmouse who overcame everything with hard work, look at Kiara who rose from the ashes, look at everyone that fights against their odds every day and give it your all. If you already think you lost, then you have nothing to lose. Don't give up on your dreams because others tell you to.
