Probably more than a 20 mph ball speed difference between these two Tony Finau swings. When your max speed is 200+ mph, 180 mph feels pretty conservative and controlled. Congrats to Tony and his team on another 🏆! 🎥: Boyd Summerhays

172.5 MPH CLUB HEAD SPEED! 🤯 I’ve watched this swing 20 times. Every time my back hurts. 😂 Sam Attanasio has set the driver club head speed record. He also co-holds the ball speed record of 245 MPH. My brain can’t even comprehend this lol. 245 ball speed is absolutely nuts. Is this speed useful for the course? No. But his cruising speed surely is 140mph easy. And players are learning from the long drive guys and getting faster and faster. 🎥: drsamattanasio on I G

POV: Murrieta Police Department pulls you over for speeding… while your dashcam shows you driving the posted 50 MPH speed limit. Officer apparently says he paced me at 65. Ticket says ~60. Tesla telemetry records 55 MPH max. Dashcam shows me at the 50 MPH limit. So where did 60–65 MPH come from? I asked for a supervisor. The officer declined to notify his supervisor and declined my request for a supervisor. Get your popcorn, folks. 🍿

A Boeing 747 flies much faster than it appears when you watch it from the ground. Despite looking surprisingly slow high in the sky, its normal cruising speed is around 900–920 km/h (560–570 mph), and even at maximum it usually stays in the range of 980–1,000 km/h (610–620 mph). 🎥 innovation_science_21

It's been just 11 games in affiliated ball, but Josuar Gonzalez has all the makings of a future #1 overall prospect. 30 batted ball events: 109.1 mph EV90 50% hard-hit rate 93 mph avg. EV 111.3 mph max EV Those raw EVs out of an 18-year-old, 5'10", 180 lb frame are otherworldly. Combined with elite SS defense, 60-grade speed, and what has been above-average contact and plate discipline, it's hard to see a world where Gonzalez doesn't turn into a superstar. He'll need to more consistently elevate the baseball (22/30 GBs, 0.5° LA), turning the elite EVs into home run power or at least gap-to-gap, but that comes with time. Gonzalez won't turn 19 until October.

🚨 BREAKING: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani just announced he wants to REDUCE the speed limit to 20 mph on every single street in New York City. And it isn’t about “safety” as he’d fool voters into believing. It’s about flooding the streets with more speed traps, more tickets, and way more revenue sucked straight out of drivers’ wallets. And guess what? That cash grab is exactly how he plans to bankroll his socialist wishlist. In a city where traffic already crawls slower than a rush-hour snail, this feels less like progress and more like a deliberate squeeze: make driving miserable, and keep the fines rolling in. Freedom of movement? Not on his watch.

People wanna know why I love the SHREDmill so much?? This collection of videos is exactly the reason why I’m such a big advocate, as both a speed AND coaching/technical AMPLIFER⚡️🔌 All of these reps were done within the same session: Rep 1: 8.3 mph; excessive turnover, minimal horizontal push/thigh split Rep 2: after working on some positional wall drills, hit 7.7 mph; better positions/thigh split, but no push Rep 3: 9.3 mph; literally put it all together as far as the “good” from reps 1 and 2! Sprinting on the ground, incorporating max effort jumps/plyos, and still getting strong in the weight room are musts for maximizing speed development, but no other tool in the speed world allows you to both improve the qualities needed to be a damn good accelerator, while also giving you the feedback (both objectively via outputs, and the visual/auditory feedback from watching+coaching reps) needed to make improvements in short periods of time. This dude competes. Slo-mo side angle look at ‘27 Collin Vaughan (Collin Vaughan). The 6-1, 190-pound RHP is up to 88 MPH in his second inning of work. In a grove getting the strikeout here to end it. Has shown slider at 71-75 MPH, curveball at 66 MPH and change up at 80 MPH. As Ryan Brewer notes: “This guy should be on the All-Compete Team” of the #FiveToolFestival. More to come on ✭Five Tool Texas✭. Out of Walnut Grove High School Baseball (TX). Cam Young 🏌️‍♂️ Averaged 123mph club head speed & 183mph ball last season. I watched him hit drivers on the range at the PGA and he was up to 126 mph / 189mph. With a big pause. He probably has close to 133mph / 200mph in the tank, if he really pushed it. So much power.

Back-to-back U.S. Senior Open Champion. 🏆🏆 At 54, Padraig Harrington isn’t just keeping up he’s still able to reach 120+ mph club speed and 180+ mph ball speed. Why? It’s an elite combination of speed-producing mechanics: ✅ A wide takeaway that creates space. ✅ Early pressure shift into the lead side while still completing the backswing. ✅ Massive downswing loading (lag), with one of the highest lead wrist angles we’ve measured on Tour. ✅ Incredible rotational force and ground reaction forces that allow him to release the club at exactly the right time. ✅ Elite grip strength that lets him maintain control while applying tremendous force into the handle. The result? A swing that stores energy through transition and releases it with incredible efficiency through impact. The best part? Padraig has been training with SuperSpeed for nearly a decade and he’s still finding ways to get faster. Speed isn’t something you build once, it’s something you continue to develop. Congratulations to Padraig Harrington on defending his U.S. Senior Open title. A masterclass in how great mechanics, smart training, and relentless work can keep producing elite speed year after year.

HURRICANE POLO HAS REACHED CATEGORY 5 STRENGTH FOR THE THIRD TIME! Polo has once again exploded into a 180 mph Category 5 hurricane, marking the third separate time the storm has reached Category 5 intensity. This is an extraordinary milestone: Polo is the first hurricane on record to reach Category 5 strength three separate times with all three peaks occurring in the Eastern Pacific. And at 180 mph, Polo has once again reached the third-highest wind speed ever recorded in the Eastern Pacific. Polo is certainly one for the history books.
