HG and SS I will never forget. They were literally one of the best games along with Black and White and ORAS.

True Ogs remember the original Gold and Silver with the Pc multiplication hack and catching the Poke Virus.

HG/SS and Black/White were the calm before the storm. The absolute peak of Pokemon. Once X/Y came out and the mainline games went 3D that was when the series decline began and it only keeps getting worse the more time passes..

Wasn't THAT great tbh. Story was still lackluster, level curve was awful, most of the Johto dex still sucked, Kanto still had no real story.
