“Note the humans were prevented from communicating with each other replicating the same abilities as ants” Ants are constantly communicating with each other in ways humans are incapable of. So the ants were communicating while the humans were not. Only proves communication is the key to problem solving in groups. 🤷♀️

Ants do communicate you fuckin retard

When an ant attacks a human finger, Newton's 3rd law comes into play. According to the law, if a force acts on an object, a reaction force of equal magnitude and opposite direction occurs from the object to the force.

Let them build an ant sky scraper

was that voiceover watching the same video cuz the humans solved it at the exact same time as the ants

*sigh* They told the humans they couldn't talk to each other.

Why would you even compare humans with mere ants. What type of comparison is that?

The ant video was way timelapsed and the humans weren't allowed to communicate... and still beat the ants. This is mysanthropic BS.

How do they do the same movements in the same pattern?

No matter how hard they try to downplay our abilities, humans are superior beings.

Why are you comparing ants with us?

Ant's also go to war instantly with any other ant that smells and looks different. LOL

Now get a bunch of different ants from a bunch of completely different colonies without the hive mind commeraderie and come back to me

🧢 how’d they incentivize the ants 🐜 to solve this puzzle 🤔😩😅

… Ants communicate in pheremones… Humans by a lexicon of complex grunts, gestures, etc… You hamstring humans, but don't run it again by hamstringing ants? Uhuh... yeah this is bs & slop. Also, need to consider... An ant's entire life is conquering their environment; why did they use random humans & not military trained humans? This "experiment" didn't need to be done; ants didn't build a rocket ship, the ISS, and many many things. Don't get wrong; for what they are -ants are impressive. In comparison to us humans though… [imo] This is idiocracy science…

“Note that the humans were prevented from communicating with each other”. Ohh ok so you prevented us to use the thing we evolved to take advantage of, but the ants get to use their evolutionary trait of scented hive mind communication suuuuurrrreeee

Why did the ants want to move this?

Ants did all that without the need for someone shouting "PIVOT!"

No wonder chimera ants so strong

Wasn’t this disproven because Humans weren’t allowed to talk to each other but the amts was allowed to. If the humans was allowed to talk they would 100% be faster then ants

Crucial difference: Ants have swarm intelligence which helps them be more efficient. While Humans act more individualistic and self-serving, so any task not premeditated will take longer.

Show both in real time if you really want to make the claim

Such a flawed test, of course the ants communicate, just because we dont know how or understand it doesnt mean they dont, this only shows that teamwork is better, not that ants or humans have more or less greedy problem solving skills

The real truth is humans invented cranes thousands of years ago to lift heavy objects up and over obstacles when ants start build diesel engines then you can compare intelligence.

Yeah? Well do ants pay tax? Didn't think so. Checkmate insectshaggers

I like how this test seemingly assumes ants don't have any means of communication for some reason

Ants live in a diabolical tyranny that makes Hitler look like a saint.

im more interested in how they got the ants to want to move a T through a hole.

You're handicapping the humans in that experiment unfairly. Humans evolved to use sound to communicate and give signals, while ants use chemical signals, tactile interactions, and vibrations. Either figure out a way to make the ants unable to communicate, or let humans talk.

But this proves nothing because ants communicate with eachother through pheromones, they have commanders

I’d say communication efficacy is really what’s being tested not the ability to problem solve

So you're telling me the species adapted to organize themselves through language isn't as good as ants when working in groups if you prevent them from using language? Man I never would've guessed

The biggest difference? Ants work as one. Humans argue first. 😂
