I was fortunate to have direct access to the President, which helped secure my son's release. But what about the many parents who have no such access? We cannot turn a blind eye—we must prioritize ending these abductions. During the campaigns, we assured Kenyans that enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings would not happen under our watch. Yet, here we are, watching them become normalized. This must stop.
