The unloading and import of hundreds of oil and gas wagons from neighboring countries continue through the Aqina port. Afghanistan’s trade with all its neighboring countries—except Pakistan—remains normal. However, if the Pakistani regime does not revise its current policies, it will face further losses, the burden of which will ultimately fall on the people of Pakistan. We deeply regret the suffering of the Pakistani people, but Afghanistan has taken this step out of necessity, not desire.

#WATCH | Delhi: Author, Philosopher and Advaita teacher Acharya Prashant says, "...The Pakistani army is not a well-wisher of the Pakistani nation. Their intentions towards Pakistan are also not good. Otherwise, they would not have participated in this war. They know they cannot grow beyond a point, and probably they have given up on themselves. But India does not want to be confined to just this region. We have global ambitions, we want to be a global power and a global power, not just in a military sense or a hegemonic sense, but global power in research hub, quality of life, center of creativity and innovation. That's what India wants to be. Pakistan does not even want to be that, so the very objectives are different. They want to pull us down to their level...What China is doing through Pakistan is that it wants to put you back by another 20 years and thereby increase the difference between itself and India. We must not allow that to happen..."

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid: The unrest in Pakistan did not begin today. It has existed for the past 20 years. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Baloch groups, and other internal problems already existed there. Pakistan therefore should not attribute its internal situation to Afghanistan. If Pakistan is being harmed by activities originating from anywhere inside Afghanistan, it should provide us with the information and cooperate with us so that we can address and prevent it. We control all Afghan territory and the country’s borders, and we do not see any such activity taking place.
