The US lost the moment that attacked Iran. It was checkmate right then. They'll lose the economic war before the kinetic one which they will lose definitively as well. There are some key differences to that war that you mentioned. First off , there was a lot of the manufacturing that was onshore back to America. Second, America has its own oil reserves and untapped vast resources in Alaska. So i'm betting on America!
