Would that be the William Happer who did some actual research into what the expected temperature rise would be due to the next doubling of CO2, and found… exactly the same increase as everyone else? Strange how that never gets mentioned, huh?

There has been 'real' Scientific reports, based mainly on ice core samples dating back to the Paleolithic Period. These were published 20 years ago, and show a lag of CO2 increase/decrease ranging from 200 to 500 years AFTER temperature fluctuations. Didn't fit Al Gores narrative, so were buried.

Biggest climate effectors imo; 1. That big ball of light and heat in the sky. 2. The Earth's magnetic field and it's natural variations.

I met my MP at a local residents meeting and asked him if he believed in anthropological climate change, he did, I asked him to name the percentage of gasses in the atmosphere, he could not, particularly Co2, he thought oxygen 80%

The guy is right, there is a correlation between the earths temperature and CO2 concentrations. CO2 follows temperature changes by about 600 - 800 years.

The Permian Extinction ignored his premise completely and temperature rose after huge amounts of CO2 entered the atmosphere. Coal formation halted for millions of years because plant growth was insufficient to create more coal during those millions of years.

The Permian Extinction was caused by massive amounts of CO2 and other green house gases released by the Siberian Traps. If humans release enough CO2 and methane to reach 2000ppm, it would be foolish at best to expect no impact to the environment and no increase in temperature.

Thats the way science and medicine seems to be today. They treat the symptom and ignore the cause. The money is in treating the symptom not finding the cause. Its like treating a fever when the cause is an open wound infection.

CO2 comes mostly from volcanoes and deforestation. CO2 has no effect on temperature...the temperature effects the amount of CO2 that the atmosphere can retain. Higher CO2 promotes vegetative growth, eventually causing CO2 levels to fall, creating variable cycling over time.
