The reason they tell you to vote is because the ruling class knows the people cannot vote their way out of a capitalist dictatorship when both parties are completely controlled by capital. The only way to change a capitalist regime like the United States that values profits and property more than human life is to disrupt and take back the one thing the system cares about: Capital. To do this the working class must organize a mass movement to seize the means of production and put the economy directly in the hands of the people, not the oligarchs.
