University students outraged by... Coca Cola Watch this video of university students at the University of Sydney who have become outraged after spotting Coca Cola on campus. While it's tempting to just mock them because it really is quite funny, there is a serious side to it. Th education system has clearly failed these students. They appear very much unprepared for the world. They are going to be confronted by lots of Coca Cola and other scary things in their lives and they appear to have no coping skills. If there is this much time to whinge over things like this than clearly the courses they are taking are not rigorous enough. All in all, the video reflects quite poorly on the University of Sydney and its students.

I distributed 50 school supply kits to students at Al-Khayam School in Gaza, out of 120 students. Seventy children are still waiting for their turn waiting for nothing more than a pen and a notebook, just to feel that they are still students, and that their dreams still exist. I would be truly happy if we could complete the distribution to the remaining children those who have lost everything in their lives: their homes, their sense of safety, their childhood, and have nothing left but clinging to education as their last hope. Your donation and your sharing are not just acts of help; they are an attempt to save the future of children who have nothing left but this small hope🙏

Professor Dave, who teaches philosophy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, just posted this: “Once these ICE agents are hanging from a rope after their trial… we get to go up to their families and literally drink their tears. We get to quench our thirst with their tears… everyone’s laughing and pointing at their family members, taking joy in the suffering of their family members.” In other clips, which are uploaded in the comments, Professor Dave calls for spitting in the National Guard’s face (calling them traitors), says they should “take up their arms and turn them toward ice,” labels ICE “gestapo secret police” and “no better than yahtzees,” and claims abolishing ICE is the “moderate position” while demanding prosecutions. In another video, he plays the sound of a woman screaming while he laughs under the caption “This will be laughing to the reaction of an ICE agents family after one gets melted.” This isn’t philosophy. This is sickening incitement and revenge fantasy. A Professor of Philosophy — the field built on reason, ethics, and critical thinking — is out here celebrating graphic fantasies of lynching federal agents and sadistically enjoying the suffering of their families. Back in 2024, just a month after HYBE’s audit, and while Hyein was still recovering from an injury, NewJeans kicked off a packed, week-long run of university festival performances. They started on May 25 at Korea University, then headed to Chosun University on the 27th, where they drew a massive crowd of 45,000 people. From there, they performed at Dong-eui University and Pusan National University on the 28th, Dongguk University and Sejong University on the 30th, and wrapped things up at Chung-Ang University on the 31st. At every stop, they delivered high-energy stages, performing their new songs “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum” alongside a lineup of their biggest hits, and the crowd response was huge throughout. Looking back, ADOR and NewJeans shared, “We received tremendous energy and so much love while performing at seven university festivals over the course of a week. We wanted to give back the love we received to college students who need support, and we’re grateful to have been given this opportunity.” And they followed through on that. While the performances helped them sharpen their skills on stage and promote their new music, all proceeds were donated to the Korea Student Aid Foundation to support low-income students, covering essentials like living expenses and housing. The foundation expressed its gratitude, saying it will do its best to help students in difficult situations continue their studies, and that it hopes this kind of generosity will inspire a lasting cycle of giving.

Today, history was made at Southern Delta University (SDU), Ozoro. As Visitor to the University, I inaugurated multiple projects ahead of the maiden Convocation Ceremony. The projects commissioned include: •College of Medical Sciences Building; •Faculty Building Complex; •Science Laboratory Complex; •Pa James Odhokpa Izomor Engineering Workshop, donated by Engr. Godwin Odhokpa Izomor; •Female Students’ Hostel Complex; •Male Students’ Hostel Complex. As a government, we are proud to be building educational institutions that are dynamic, innovative and world-class. In my address, I made it clear that I am satisfied with what the Governing Council and Management of the University have been able to achieve. I encouraged other Vice-Chancellors to emulate Prof. J. S. Oboreh. I assured the graduating students that I am proud of them and urged them to be good ambassadors of the school and to continue to work hard. I charged them to embrace change, remain flexible, and never settle for less. At the ceremony, I specially thanked Engr. Godwin Odhokpa Izomor for donating the Pa James Odhokpa Izomor Engineering Workshop to SDU. It was a pleasure to reward the Best Graduating Student and other First Class graduates with cash rewards. Out of 1000 students in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, over 800 of them left the country without the government knowing. Our embassy over there has no record of them. And guess what those 800 people are studying? Parents are paying Brown University over $75,000 a year, yet we are learning the school has almost zero usable surveillance footage of the recent shooting because they allegedly turned their cameras off to protect Palestinian students and illegal aliens from being reported.
