Check out @IsabellaMWeber’s work on this

Corporate profits combined with a total failure of the regulatory bodies that are meant to protect the consumer. Companies have been able to raise prices yet provide an appalling service with complete impunity.

Wages have been *falling* in real terms - so how could they possibly be fuelling inflation? 🤔 Surely this is a 'no-brainer'..!

Who's gonna tell her what drives inflation? 👀

Thanks as always Grace. Do you ever the feeling when you go on these daytime morning shows etc and speak your truths that you're unwelcome? That you might not be invited back? You must be upsetting some very rich, powerful people.

Brilliant analysis @graceblakeley the voice of sense in a world 🌎 where it is lacking.

Can you cite the economic studies you refer to please?

Whilst everything we owned and needed was being put on the market at cut rate prices, we were assured that watchdogs would monitor. OFGEM, OFWAT, OFCOM and more were set up with this responsibility but have utterly failed. They have always been absolutely toothless. Renationalise rail, mail, utilities and health and scrap these useless quangos.

@mark_e_fitz Everything to do with inflation during the last few years is as a result of increased energy costs. Those were a result of the EU and UK nations sanctioning russian energy and purchasing considerably more expensive energy from the USA.

🙏 fighting the good battle we see you Grace 💪 We need more articulate intelligent voices on these pseudo news programmes 👏 great work
