@BrianRoemmele Quadrupedal robots draw on decades of biomechanics research - Raibert's 1986 hopping robot proved dynamic stability principles that nature discovered millions of years ago. The G1's gait mirrors the neural central pattern generators found in mammalian spinal cords.

But can it make me coffee yet? I love the mobility, and perhaps that is of value around, say, a construction site, but I feel we are back to the mode where Boston Dynamics just made really expensive robot dance videos for 10 years.
