We had a situation in China where a Zimbabwean student studying in China was hit by a car while riding a bike. His insurance company and the motorist(culprit) refused to pay for the medical bills. We reached out to our listening President President of Zimbabwe through ZANU PF protocols and funds were made available at once. We’re grateful and the student is so grateful too. We are proud to announce that yesterday marked the completion of the 20.95 km Trans-Warri–Ode-Itsekiri Road, featuring 15 bridges of various spans. With this, the project is essentially complete — 19 years after the contract was first awarded. This is a landmark achievement and a deeply cherished milestone for the Itsekiri people. A promise made, and a promise kept. We give God Almighty the praise for bringing this vision to reality. The project is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of next year.

Heroic kids…Two kids aged 12 and 9 from Domboshava, Magaya Village defied their ages and rescued a woman clasped by the leg by a 4 metre long crocodile along Mungezi River. The 12-year-old pulled the woman back while the 9-year-old fetched a log and tossed out one eye forcing the crocodile to release the woman. National Parks later captured the crocodile and indeed it had one eye missing. The woman was fishing using nets. These boys truly deserve recognition from the State. Former Helen McGhie Primary School head, Hebert Horuno Zengeya told Zanu PF Senator Lovemore Matuke recently that his Zanu PF Government is like an evil spirit that is wrecking chieftainships by spreading hate, dividing families and setting heirs on each other’s throats for its own political convenience. Speaking at the installation of his cousin Togara Masunda as Chief Nyamandi, Zengeya said Mnangagwa took seven years to ascend to the appointment of a new chief when the law says this process must happen within two years. He said the Nyamandi Chieftainship has never resolved its succession through courts or wrangles but because of Zanu PF this had started to happen. Government officials were not to have Zengeya speaking as a family representative at the installation function.
