What’s more concerning is that they may have a stronghold over Canadian politics and institutions. I asked Bob Rai, a former member of the cult responsible for the attack: Who were the true masterminds? Today, Sikh (Khalistani) extremists claim that it was the Indian government itself that blew up Air India Flight 182, killing 329 people. This is the narrative the World Sikh Organization, a Canada-based umbrella organization claiming to represent Sikhs, has pushed. Canadians, on the other hand, are convinced that it was Canadian-Sikh (Khalistani) extremist Talwinder Singh Parmar who masterminded the attack. But according to Bob Rai, the real masterminds were neither India nor Parmar, and are still walking among us with significant political influence over Canadian politics. Rai, who regards Parmar as a tribal man, does not believe he was sophisticated enough to mastermind the world’s deadliest aviation terror attack committed from Canadian soil, especially without any inside help.
