This whole thing is leaving out the GLARINGLY MAIN POINT. It wasn't the government's fault you got pregnant in the first place. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY PEOPLE. And before yall say what about grape or insects, that's the extremely small minority and we don't make laws for the few we make them for the many.

Or, this will come as a shock to many, it IS possible to not get/get a woman pregnant. Itโ€™s quite literally one of the easiest things on the planet to do.

Babies aren't magical creatures that just teleport into your uterus. You already had several opportunities to prevent this situation.

I'm pro-choice and find this argument so cringe. First, it's really just an argument for a nanny state where the government needs to take care of everything for it's stupid citizens. I know Democrats think Americans want this, but they actually don't. Second, personal responsibility is a thing. People are in fact responsible for the decisions they make. Abortion is about providing women the ability to make choices about our own bodies. Women can make good choices without the government - but this argument makes the opposite point.
