This is absolute insanity. Elon's Terafab will be 100,000,000 square feet. For context, that is the entire industrial inventory of a medium sized city. Or the equivalent of 700 Costcos side-by-side. Or nearly 3 Central Parks. All under 1 roof.

Lake Shore Drive is a literal parking lot now because everyone from the burbs decided to drive into the city and put their flashers on to watch the fireworks. I haven’t moved in an hour and I’m so mad that I can smell colors and hear shapes. MOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEE!

It is like driving a sports car through a supermarket parking lot on a pay day weekend with thousands of kids in that parking lot."

I put 150 film techniques on one page. Camera, lighting, composition, editing, genre, storytelling, VFX. Each one comes with an example shot, a short explanation, and the prompt written out for the moment you know the shot you want and the words won't come.

September 21st, 2024 This dog cart is bound for Yulin, Guangxi, China On Qingyun Rd, Liuzhou, there are many stalls with skinned cats and lots of dogs, small and medium-sized. There's not one single dog on the road in that city. Stray dogs are really scared. #wearenotfood

She-Ra 35mm Work Print vs TV/DVD Print So why does 35mm film look different from TV versions in certain ways? A main culprit is broadcast standards/limits of the time. TV systems (eg NTSC) have narrower color ranges than film. Colors that looked vibrant on 35mm had to be "crushed" into TV's smaller color space, causing shifts in hue/saturation. The 35mm represents the original intent often with the TV end product in mind), while the TV version is the final product plus the technical compromises needed for broadcast.
