2v2 Score Game! All players start at the 10. Coach throws the ball into 1 of the offensive players. Ball carrier must touch the 20y line then they can score. Offensive player without the ball has to touch the hash or sideline before they can block. Defenders mirror the offense. If you’re on the ball carrier side you have to touch the end zone. Blocker side defender must touch the same time hash or sideline. Sometimes I’m not a fan of 2v2+ drills as there’s too much info to process, but this was a sweet spot of action and reading + reacting. Good drill that’s gonna stay in the rotation for sure!

My take: the ball hitting a hand is not always a handball offence. You have to either 1.) deliberately touch the ball with your hand, or 2.) ball hits your hand/arm when it's made your body unnaturally bigger. This isn't deliberate, and if the ball hits his hand - which is on his forehead in the middle of a normal footballing challenge - he hasn't made his body unnaturally bigger. Because the ball would have hit his head anyway, so his hand on his head does not make his body unnaturally bigger. Furthermore, VAR can only recommend an on-field review for a clear and obvious error. There is only one camera angle available, which does not show that the referee has missed a clear and obvious error. We can't see clearly where the ball hits. This is categorically not what VAR was brought in for, and it all needs ripped up in the summer. This is a really poor look for Scottish football, as you can see from the international condemnation online since the game. You really have to feel for Hearts. Unless you're a Celtic fan of course, that must have been class. But if you're not a Celtic fan. Deary me. Could be a generation defining decision, never mind season defining!

This guy holds Pressure not giving a single fuck about anything since you can’t even punish mindless pressing most of the time. Doesn’t matter if he brings out his CBs and DMFs and ruins his team structure I still won’t be able to exploit any space. I thought the weakness of Long Ball Counter was that it had a hard time Pressing? Why was he able to hold pressure 91% of the time and give me a hard time on the ball? It felt like I was playing against Quick Counter and Long Ball Counter at the same time. It almost feels like playing against Smart Assist all over again. I legit did not have barely 1 second on the ball at all without getting hounded and if I somehow broke his Press then I was met with the Long Ball Counter free to play juiced up DDA defense. And pay attention to his 360 no scope passes in the blind and still be able to build up and not get punished at all. What is eFootball really? It’s a genuine question because from what I’m seeing they are wanting to bring the game father and father from a proper football simulation but that doesn’t matter anyways since we’ll all empty our wallets wiping out packs weekly without hesitation. 😃 And sorry if my voice was sounds gone. The 3D data from FIFA's cameras around the stadium seem to contradict FIFA's official statement that the ball never made contact with the camera cable in Norway vs England. FIFA has 16 dedicated high resolution optical cameras positioned around every World Cup stadium to capture player and ball movements throughout the match. They use these to create the precise 3D renderings of gameplay which are used in-game for things like offsides graphics and then also used by broadcasters to create programming visuals. In this rendering, you can see the ball "hitch" in the air at the moment it supposedly contacted the cable. Now that by itself is interesting, but the part that really convinces me is the behavior of the English player that comes up to play the ball. This is especially clear in the second wide-angle shot. Watch his angle on the ball. Watch what angle he takes before the ball hitches in the air and then after. He clearly has to adjust his angle to play the ball...and suspiciously, that adjustment happens right after it takes that hitch and appears to change trajectory. To me, this is fairly compelling evidence that the ball hit the cable. This brings up a very interesting point though...this comes from FIFA's data. They would have had access to this in their analysis of the event. Which begs the question...why would they release some statement claiming no evidence of the ball contacting the cable existed when their own data seems to suggest that it did? Just adds to the mounting list of procedural questions that have really overshadowed the actual gameplay of this World Cup.

Then he scored on a medium flyball by Nevin to center, and made it look TOO easy. Talk about get on, get over, get in, he's a ONE MAN show doing that.
