The previous BC Liberal Party stopped being a real opposition to the NDP. They voted for SOGI in schools. They condemned the Freedom Convoy. They supported the NDP's handling of COVID including the lockdowns and mandates. They could not even find something to criticize as an opposition party. They abandoned conservatives. When DRIPA was debated in 2019, this NDP government said the legislation would not create new rights for First Nations. But the NDP's proposed changes to legislation brought in as part of the DRIPA action plan (Heritage Conservation Act) would give First Nations decision making rights on public & even on private property. The NDP continues to negotiate behind the backs of British Columbians, giving control of our lands & waters to governing bodies who are not accountable to the electorate.

This is the BC NDP’s legacy for 2025, a year defined by failure. Expanded government power. Record deficits. A health-care system in crisis. Public safety deteriorating. Forestry jobs destroyed. And a land title dispute escalated to the point that private property rights are now at risk. After eight years, enough is enough. It’s time to restore accountability, stability, and confidence in this province. It’s time for change. British Columbia needs a Conservative government to fix what the NDP broke.

Mark Carney and the Nenshi NDP think it’s “disloyal” to stand up for our province, our jobs, and our economy and to try and persuade Americans to reverse their President’s view on tariffs against Canada. Well, I don’t take my marching orders from Ottawa - and neither do Albertans. We’ll keep doing all we can to protect our province and to convince the Americans that tariffs against Canada are not the way to prosperity.

The NDP calls us extreme? Let's be clear about who is truly extreme. David Eby and the NDP have pushed a radical ideological agenda that is failing British Columbians. Their soft-on-crime approach has led to out-of-control extortion and violence in our communities. Their failed safe supply experiment has worsened the addiction crisis rather than solving it. And in critical court cases, they refused to properly defend fee simple property rights, abandoning homeowners, farmers, and investors. This is not compassionate governance. Unfortunately, I was right. British Columbia's rating was downgraded. We simply can no longer afford the BC NDP irresponsible budget. Only a OneBC government will make the necessary spending cuts, but we will also add tax cuts for all British Columbians to unleash our economy and bring prosperity back to our province.
